Shields disappear?

How can you be attacked if you have used a shield twice (2 8 hour shields) had to do them twice because they seen to disappear! (I have screen shots showing I'm shielded)

So I've been attacked, hero is captured, lost ask my troops....

I now know why I stopped playing hunted cow games so many years ago.

Hey guys,

 

We're looking into this, it appears a warning that your shield is going to be dropped is missing in certain situations, we'll aim to put live a patch this week.

Set a timer on your device so you don't miss it.

No timer should have been needed. Applied two 8 hour shields to get me thru sleeping that night ave going to work the next day so I could play afterwords.

First time got texted, your being scouted. I was like huh? Log in, no shields. Activated them again. Took a screen shot showing they were active on the buff screen. Log back out. Get another text, your being attacked. Lost nearly a million power (entire army) and my general was captured (luckily later returned).

So, now I'm without an army, many of which I used shards to either build outright or to hurry them up so I could start even more.

So, lost time, lost shards, lost resources, lost power.....

Sigh

Was told by game support to submit another ticket.... Seriously? How and where am I supposed to submit this new ticket at? Where they told me to go, that place tells me to go to back where I started at....
