Honestly, I think you should have waited on the poll, let 2 seasons go by before changing it. People set in something are stubborn at first, and don't like change, but once they get used to, and begin to understand what they have been given, would have probably liked it more.

I full on agree with this... on a personal level. 

 

I'm not too sure how "positive" the ideology behind it is. 

 

So far, I see "five" separate issues in what "happened" both with the update and the retraction. 

 

My personal opinion is that these issues need to be dealt with separately.

 

Again, I really like the effort seen with the Seasons... I think there are tons of great ideas. But all in all, you cannot fix "five" issues with one solution.

 

Personally, I'd like to see Seasons continue on a regular basis with some severe player input. However, as a PvP-wide system, it doesn't work for me.

Many of us have dropped major stam, FSP, frags,arena tokens in other words GAME CURRENCY,,,, and to obtain what ... A medal that may no longer exist?? 
 
You put a game in front of us to play and we play it. But you put a goal in front of us to reach ,then say you may strip it away .. in the middle of an event?
 
I have to laugh at the joke you made of me and anyone trying to be the best at anything in this game! 
 
I am expecting reserve stam, FSP, frags, 6+ levels,  guild mates stam who buffed me returned to them, potions and arena tokens that I feel I was duped into spending, and thus wasted, on a worthless event returned to me as well as an apology for providing us this one off effing sink!!!!!! 
 
Thats all this has been is one big joke of  a sink! 
 
Wanted to add ..
..and Im fine with reverting back to the old system .. not fine with what has transpired as what I see as a one off SINK!

 

Bears repeating cause I'm completely disgusted with a complete reversal on pvp updates. As many have suggested, you should have test run these concepts on a test server instead of the actual game. Making lots of changes and then adjusting according to how the wind blows is a terrible way to manage a game.

The Tyranny and PvP Mastery medals will still exists after the update tomorrow, but will be tweaked so they work with the PvP Events which will use the PvP Seasons system

 

With the update tomorrow, we'll have the new PvP Ladder with increased bands, the ability to post bounties again, variable stamina for PvP again and also the new PvP Events that we'll be able to run in the future using a tweaked version of the PvP Seasons.

Color me curious Hoof. What would the poll stats have looked like if you had added the I don't care to the keep it cause I like it stats?  Instead of to the other stat?

Just my opinion here, but if you're going to do a poll, make sure notification is put in our mail boxes.  I don't usually sign in to the home page, and thus tend to miss things unless it's mentioned by one of my friends.  The more folk that see something, the better the overall vote will/should be.

I would hope GVG would return to as it was as well - allow us to select the stamina? The poll was to revert all changes, correct?

it doesnt cost you anything anymore unless u have gold that sucks ... also u have option of opting out if u want so if  u got hit it falls on you not on game

I would have appreciated it if we got a list of ranges before they are implemented, so I could have managed myseld ro get specific gear but mehh its already an hour till it goes live so no problem
