I will go ahead and start this out...

 

I occasionally buy Common items ONLY (please do not contact me for any others).  I do not have a set rate though I typically like to pay less than 2500 gold (over 80 per FSP) depending on the situation.  I typically try to keep at least 50 BP Spaces open at all times.

As composing seems to be growing in popularity, it seems to me that many new to the buying and selling of items to be fragmented have no real idea how much to charge or pay.  The truth of this is there is no 1 right answer as there are a lot of factors:

  1. How many BP spaces does the buyer have?  Some sellers prefer to only sell to players with at least ## availabe spaces as it is more of a hassle and takes longer if you are constantly waiting for the buyer to fragment the items before you can send more.
  2. What Level are the items?  An item level 101 - 400 is worth 2 fragments but an item level 901 - 1600 is worth 4 so it only takes 1/2 the number of spaces for the same ammount of frags making it much easier on both buyer and seller.  Of course, convenience can equate to value so higher level items may warrant slightly higher prices.
  3. How friendly was the buyer/seller?  Aside from prices, if the interaction was unpleasant, they are not likely to do business again any time soon.  Personally, I will gladly pay a higher price when dealing with friends than just some random person - this generally works both ways.
  4. How do you want the transaction to occur?  Depending on how easy the transaction is on the buyer or seller may also determine pricing.
  5. Who is online when you are ready to buy/sell items? None of the rest of the factors (including price) really matter much if there is no one else online to deal with.

There may be other factors but I think these are the main ones.  Obviously, price is not everything.

 

That said, there is no real good way to find players to buy or sell your frags which is the main reason I am making this post.

 

If you are a fragment farmer and would like to reach out to sell your items, please leave a reply - you can list your prices and restrictions here or direct players to your bio as prices may change from time to time.  Even if you prefer to be messaged for a quote based on the above (or other) factors, please let us know.  Don't worry if you don't have the best rate or if you are only starting out - there is plenty demand and you are sure to find a buyer.

 

If you buy fragments a certain way and/or have a set rate you prefer to pay, here is a good place to let the farmers know how to find you.

I really like the idea...

 

In some ways I agree with tharzill that it should just be the one list but then you would have guilds droping their inactive players to try to be on top and that can be destructive in itself.  There are times when personal life pulls a player away from FS for a while and when they return you don't want them to find themselves homeless - kicked out on the street like they don't matter with all the effort they put in before just wasted because even if they return, they won't regain that guild XP... Long story short - I would vote no to removing the current list.

 

I also kinda like yotwehc's idea about tracking player activity with other metrics than XP but this would be extremely difficult to do.  As gilby pointed out, if a player is using auto-refresh, it would break any metrics that tell you the average amount of time players are loged on to the game in the guild.  Also, if you start measuring the number of messages in guild chat, you will inevetably get some guilds to start posting garbage in their chat just to pad up the count and make them look more active...  I still like the idea of it - I just don't know how you would do it...

I have also always envisioned a titan that slowly moves across the screen for the duration it is spawned.  So it could start at one side of the screen, and then when so many kills are made or so much time has passed, it moves one square.  Once it reaches the other side of the screen, it is gone (maybe to just be spawned somewhere else or maybe totally dead, could be set up in a lot of ways).  This feature would really help those who do not have fast connections.

I like this idea - instead of having the Titan confined to a map, let it be confined to a region and have players take stairways to the next region to find it again.  This could definitely help to add a layer of complexity to Titan hunting for all of those who think Teleport has made it too easy.

It could be set where it either uses the stairways so players know where to find it or travel off the edge so players have to find the correct staircase to the next area.  This could be a real challenge if they spawn in areas with maze-like maps.

 

I like your other ideas as well but kinda fixated on this one for the moment lol

This may have been brought up in the past but I think it would be helpful (especially during Global Events) if there was a toggle in your preferences that allows you to attack Champion class creatures with the number keys.  This of course would be off by default.

 

Currently, during a Global Event that has Champion Class creatures (potion Globals) if you want to attack the champion creatures, you either have to do a LOT of clicking or you can switch to the classic map to use your keyboard.  Most don't know about the classic map workaround and even if you do you probably agree that that map is much slower.

 

This is really a pain during these events but adding a toggle to attack these creatures with the keyboard can help even beyond the Globals.  Some players may even want this functionality always enabled.

 

I'm not sure if you would want to allow this for SE and Titan creatures but I'm sure many would like this ability.

On-topic: 
I think 1 Composing slot via FSP Upgrades is kinda of ok...But we already have the Champions Pack, so I think that's enough.

LOVE the Bazar Idea as well...

 

I strongly agree - the extra composing slot in the Champions Pack is quite sufficient.

 

What I would much rater see in Composing is the ability to edit/manage your templates while all your slots are full.  The ability to change skill levels on your templates as you level up without completely recreating the template would be a huge help.

But in all seriousness, I have seen both good and bad dealings here when it comes to criticism.  I for one applaud Hoof's decision to better define forum rules for all as he did above with clear reguards as to how the forums will be moderated.  This is definitely a step in the right direction.

Be completely open about this... Depending on the auto listing function and how adding gold to bounties work, the attacker is going to feel pain when listed. Attacking for token amounts of gold is not worth the damage taken since there is no more soft clears by friends. The "victim" would have to carry a good amount of gold to make it worth an attackers while.

 

Although the new system isn't perfect, it is better than what we had before where a few controlled the BB to the point that some no longer bother putting up bounties. Can you honestly say that the new system is "worse" for non pvpr's? If all else reverts back, I hope at least the BB changes remain. When HCS implemented the new BB, was there a huge outcry? Only by the non whiners. The original release of seasons however woke everyone up and I think we can all agree that was a disaster... not the new BB but original seasons...

As a player who has never attacked another player in PvP (despite joining the ladder a few times to take a beating and see what it was like to stand there and only defend), I can honestly say yes, the new Bounty Board is worse for non PvPers.

With the new Bounty Board, bullies are rewarded as you can attack your target(s) every hour for the entire day and only get 1 or 2 bounties placed on you, even if you initiated over 100 attacks.

However, the new Bounty Board is also worse for your standard PvP player who only initiates a small handful of attacks per day as they will have virtually the exact same reprecussions as the ones who attack hundreds per day.

Basicly, the new BB encourages those with high levels and stam banks to exploit the system while punishing the rest.

 

That said, there are some minor benefits to the new system, primarily when it comes to new players (< level 100) as they don't have to try to come up with the gold and bounty tickets to post the bounty like in the old system.  When you are level 50 and someone just stole all your gold, it can be hard to come up with 10 Bounty Tickets and 5000 gold...

 

Persoanlly, I think Leos3000 has the right idea.  A comprimising solution would be better for all.  However, short of that, I would just rather see the new system go away.

Remind me, what would be my reasoning for adding gold to a bounty?  I mean, if I add gold, isn't that supposed to increase the chances that the player will get their bounty posted?  And what is with this "20,000 gold" threashold?  I know of multiple players with over 1 million gold on their head who have yet to recieve a bounty.

 

At this point it appears like a waste of gold to add anything to a bounty as it doesn't really appear to do anything.

 

On a related side note, when those players with over 1 mil gold on their heads finally do get posted, those bounty hits sure are going to be worth a LOT of gold.  It seems only the Bounty Hunters will be benefitting from this new system but perhaps as time progresses maybe things will settle down a bit and balance out some...

If so, this will make all those "maze" maps useless.

No, ALL scripts are banned except for the Helper. I don't know what this "approved" private script nonsense you're talking about is, but it is just that. Nonsense.

The ONLY script allowed in Sword is the FSHelper.

Now. This is a feedback thread for the Helper. No more derailing it with "Ban the Helper" posts.

I think they may be referring to that BRIEF moment when HCS was originally banning scripts and said FSH and any approved scripts would be allowed.  Soon there after, it was determined that FSH was to be the ONLY approved script and it has been this way for quite a while now.

 

That said, I look forward to the day when FSH is no longer needed.  However, until that day arives, I am thankful it is around and agree there is no proint in arguing wheter is should be allowed. Such decisions are for the sole disgresion of HCS.

 

Keep up the great work HCS and FSH teams :)

yeah, the video rewards have dried up considerably but that's not the biggest problem.

 

The real problem is the video rewards are the only option that is relatively safe to do as most of the other options install viruses and other forms of malware on your system...

Fair enough - I can see where this can lead to players requesting more...

 

Though the same can be said about many of the existing skills, I do have to agree that this one in not needed.  I will not bring it up again. B)
