Well I spent all of yesterday in the hospital with my 3yr old because he couldnt walk cried and cried because his hip hurt so bad. Well to day is up running around like nothing ever happened.

I have decided that I either have seriously crappy luck or I lose my common sense from time to time...
I was cleaning today and I scared out a BIG (when I say big I mean the size of my hand BIG) Wolf spider. I like wolf spiders because they kill off pretty much every other kind of insect so, me in my absolute brilliance, decided that all I need is a paper towel and I can catch him/her and put him outside. Well it backfired and I got bit. Let me just say, a big ass spider bite REALLY hurts. and my finger is swollen. I am super unhappy.
I did get a photo of the spider before I decided to try to capture it. I still can't figure out how to download a photo here so if you want a photo Form PM me you email and I will send you a photo of the beast.

Even though the wolf spider is poisonous, its venom is not lethal. The wolf spider is not known to be aggressive; however, they will bite if they feel like they are in harm or danger. They also move extremely fast when they are disturbed. If bitten by a wolf spider, the wound should not be bandaged but an ice pack should be placed on the bite so that the swelling will go down. And if necessary the victim should avoid any movement if at all possible. It is extremely important that one sees medical attention if bitten by a wolf spider or any other spider.

Eh, Thats not all that accurate. The wolf spider's bite may hurt like a botch but, the swelling went down within an hour and the pain is gone. You only need to see a doctor if the symptoms get bad or you know you are allergic to the bite. Most people hae mild reactions to wolf spider bites (I am a bit of a freak when it comes to spiders, I LOVE them so I know a little more then I need too)
