Would be nice if there was a unlimited Narnia wardrobe to store all these vanity items.  Maybe more people would want them instead of them using up precious invent space.

To me this just shows the obvious beta player who is now peeved they didn't invest into founder packs.

Founder packs were on sale for a good few months and they made sure everyone knew about them.

 

If people are really going to start getting annoyed at the fact these items are now being sold for much more than the EP you actually obtained in a founder pack (which was expected) then all I can say is tough luck.

 

This could have easily been debated in beta, it was such an obvious thing to happen since they stated these items would be exclusive to the founder packs (only obtainable at that point in time). 

 

Tell me (not you directly Guite, and please don't take the post the wrong way nothing is intended offensively) why is it now, and only now that people have succumb to the realisation that these items are going to make players allot of in-game profit?

 

How does it make someone stupid to invest in an item that will likely be triple that price in a year to come? That's very smart if you ask me. Those players who missed the founder packs are using their incentive and getting hold of what they can before  the price skyrockets so high they can't afford one.

 

Selling a bluppity pet for 10kep would actually be a ripoff for the seller, that's way too low for an item that likely has less than 30 copies of itself still tradeable in the game

 

I really don't care about not having gotten a founder pack. I even in my post (which you obviously didn't read) that I remember seeing the pop-up ecery time I logged into the beta for "3-5 months"... You're being hostile for the sake of it or something. Look at my main's level (6)... I doubt dropping the $250 I was considering on this game makes me any better off IRL. I don't even know how much I'll even play Eldevin. Hence why drop that kind of dough when I might not have the time to bother playing much? If I missed out, my own damn choice not to, and quite frankly, I've got other things I'd rather buy, (like planes ticket to go see spring training baseball and visit my family over spring break in AZ).

 

Crass comments aside. Think what you want. I sarcastically said what I did to make a point. It was, at it's core, if someone's willing to buy it, cool. If not, too bad. I really don't care as it's not going to be changed. However, I've seen how that goes in other games, and I think having it bound is the better decision long term for a game. Just my opinion. I've played a lot of mmos, this just seems like the sensible notion.

 

You and a few others disagree heavily, because you stand to gain... okay... and? I don't see how my recommendation that FUTURE one-time only items are bound. If holiday items repeat, okay. If not, they should be bound. That's all I was suggesting. I have the kind of cash I could buy a bluppity outright. I just don't see how that is worth getting given I could buy pretty much as much of all the other things that are actually of help in the game (buckets/BPs/res and respec tokens/supporter time/xp potions/etc) Hence... why I think it's a stupid thing. I'd rather boost some skills to max than get a bluppity. Make more long term EP/coin having dropped 10k or more EP on skills than a one time cashout. Just my opinion.

 

As to why I "only bring it up now", because I happened to see the thread, and upon reading the items were

A) One time only

B) Not Bound

C) Status gear, that kind of loses it's meaning if anyone can up and buy it.

NO ONE here is calling for your items from founder packs to be bound.... (at least I'm not anyhow) so why the hostility here? Again a repeat the point I made sarcatically, if you can find someone who will buy it for big time EP... cool? I never asked to make the founder pack items bound. Was saying for future one-time things that would be a good way to go.

 

Anyhow, things being able to just be bought up by some random person kind of kills the meaning of the founder items. That was my main bugaboo about it. I've got buds who dropped for them, and it kind of sucks that it lessens the meaning of having the items. That's kind of where I was coming from. If you want to sell them, fine. Not like I was saying you couldn't. Anyhow, I'm out.

Ok I'm going to lock this too stop the arguing.

 

What I will say is everything from the Christmas Event will be back next year + more stuff as we'll have more time to expand the event.

 

We also plan on adding new packs in the future with new unique vanity gear / pets and boosters and more, we'll also give lists of whats is in each pack going forward. For the moment there is a great thread showing the content of the champions packs here :
