#1
Posted 25 September 2015 - 12:26
Today we have released three brand new recipes for GvG Epic items, the first in an ongoing release, in much the same manner as the Ladder and Arena updates. These recipes can be found in Brother Brians Library at the Cathedral of Ways.
We look forward to your constructive feedback.

The problem is the stam-gain power-creep. He should've stayed at +6 and waited for the other item slots to catch up.
The purpose of this, in my opinion, is to 'shock-and-awe' EOC players with these uber stam gain epics. Which is unnecessary because a +4 or +5 armor would have the same effect, I think.

What is purpose of so high stm gain epics on the game for high level players? Haven't they got enough stm gain after most of them reaching EOC to wait for new content?
+7 is an huge gap for other epic armors +3

New player has 50 stm gain per hour
Now one new epic with +7, at this pace in less than an year there will be 9 epics +7 => +63 stm per hour [only from epics, not counting the stm gain upgrades on fsp upgrades and +15 from guild structure]

What are you talking about? Epics are rarely released...Your being a little extremist. You also act as if EVERYONE will have them. They won't they take 3500 RP to invent there will be very minimal amounts of them for a LONG time... Vine's were out for what 3 years and there is only 80 of them. The game was much more active GvG-wise back then as well. I for one am very happy for all your hard work BG .
Once again is is +7 because its a level 2500 epic... He follows a formula... Will there be lower level Armor Epics? Probably later...He obviously has a plan. Have faith in him...
Amulets jumped from +2 to +6 then eventually the gap was filled...Whats the difference between +3 and +7...The same thing will fall into place.

@ Epicpiety: I realise you are happy with +7 armours because you're in position to sell them and it will help you make FSP's.
That doesn't mean that they are a good thing though. There were many 'holes' that could/should be filled before the cap on stam gain from epics is risen yet again.

Max by now: +6 glove +6 helm +6 amulet +4 weapon +7 armor +3 shield +4 ring +6 boot +4 rune = +46
And on Xmas BG may release new titans maybe with better stm gain. so soon +50 gain from epics [so getting extra just with epics what an new player get per hour]
Maybe even an new batch of gvg epics also coming soon like happened on ladder sets (which were two batches with new sets)
It is going high too fast

Not necessarily, i'll be making no fsps. I don't know where that came from but if your referring to my guilds RP that is the GUILDS fsps. Either way though be it +4 +5 +6 i would sell it for the same price. Seeing that there will be almost none of them invented. Classic pricing technique... Didn't Turing Pharmaceuticals teach you anything LOL. You own the market you make the price. I don't see the problem with an epic being +7 if its level 2500.

3-4 years for 3 new gvg epics? Pretty steady pace if you ask me.

It gives a false sense of approval when one or two players post repeatedly in defence of something, (or against something) instead of saying their piece and moving on...
There is far too much 'badgering' of certain things in the forums these days. :S
