I did some slight edits to C. Improved the lighting a bit and the render has better focus.

Google image search and tineye didn't show any results for C dude, plus, it really looks like your style. I highly doubt its a text slap, you may just have started with a stock image instead of a render =)

If you want some CnC on D, read the following. If not, look away.

I think generally animations look better if they are in the focal of the piece. The animation of the Commander's sword distracts a bit from the focal. In C, the animation draws to the focal which in my opinion makes it a lot more attractive.
