It is very simple to control the epic market.

The titan market will now get 'recycled' due to tiered epics, sure.

But this doesn't change anything for RP epics, which are totally overpriced compared to titan epics, atleast over time.

The simple solution would be: Have some epics reserved for RP, some for titans.

Meaning, the gloves/helm/ammy for example are invented from RP. 

The rest of the epics you get from titans.

 

Presto, solved.

Plus you 'fix' activity in GvG with this.

Hi,

 

I have wanted to be a mentor in this game for a long time.

Even started a guild 'Training Facilty' which didn't work out that well, since there were not enough new people joining the game at that time, plus hard to get all the new players into 1 guild ofcourse :)

 

I really want this 'feature' to be more well known in the game for new players.

Give them some sort of personal message whenever they register, as to how many mentors are available in the game at any given moment.. something in this order.

 

If this game ever launches on steam, there is a WIDE!!! pool of potential new players that can join the game.

And i want to keep them interested after the first couple of 100 levels they can achieve pretty fast.

So please make it more 'well known' to new players that there are others out there that want to teach them the game.

 

Please +1 this if you feel the same.

We need more players in this game, needed them for years because of people quitting left and right.

As a community we need to keep people interested in it is my opinion.

And the only way to do this is to teach people how to play it properly, in all aspects of the game.

You could also think about a guild medal, just like the the ones we as players are getting for the global events.

There doesn't have to be any rewards like chests and what not, but there could be something different... no clue what it should be, but don't think in the order of chests.. we can earn enough of those already.

 

You mentioned people like HOFFA, i don't think he cares 1 bit for the global chests.. i'm not a mind reader, and haven't talked to him.
But some people here in TED never use those chests, they have tons of them.. with much less stamina bank then him.

Getting some 'prestige' however might change things.

And for 1 player to earn a 100 chests, what do you think will happen on the second event?

He will still have 99 chests left.. = zero motivation.

 

The reason people fight hard on some of these events, is because they are allowed to design/give name to a new item that will be introduced, think like this.

And the reason i say no RP, is because it should be seperated.

Yes it is guild vs guild, i will give you that.

But i prefer the actual guild vs guild gets fixed instead of handing out RP in some different way.

 

Again, i like the idea, but it needs a rework.

I do not know how, because i haven't really thought about it that good.

But i agree with you that there should be more content for guilds to work towards as a group.. that's for sure.

Linking rewards to it probably is a must, because else people won't get motivated at all...

But giving them chests is not the way to go i think.

Might be nice to have events where the guild can earn 'prizes', but the whole idea should be revamped in my opinion.

Like stated above.. smaller guilds would have no chance vs 100+ man guilds with half of them being EOC, big stamina banks and bored out of their minds  :D

And adding RP to this is out of the question in my opinion: RP = GvG, and nothing else.

There should not be a top100 ranking of guilds.
There can be, for braggin rigths, but not with additional prizes what so ever, just a goal to reach.

Just something in the order of the guild achievements we have right now.

 

I think teamplay (in guilds) should be much more promoted.

So idea's like this, with some tweaking, can work wonders for activity and game pleasure probably.

And help with the 'family' aspect of this game, which is the biggest reason many people are still playing this game even after playing for over 10 years.. their guild and friends they met during this time.

 

Give people more reasons to login to the game on weekly basis.

Give the EOC players with huge stamina banks something to 'work' for as a group :)

But please, do not make top100 guilds/payouts, this will discourage smaller guilds from even participating, since they can never be nr1.

Maybe introduce more achievements in general, and link a reward to it.

Doesn't have to be big, please don't make it to big and overpowered cows, lol

I would love to see some changes here aswell.

Like stated above, composing made a lot of potions redundant, some have been for years already and can basically just be removed.. because nobody makes or uses them at all.
The only reason people might make them is to free up component space because they don't feel like destroying extractions.

A lot of potions that where bought by many people before, are now somewhat useless and hold no more value due to composing (another facet of the game 'killed' so to say), they are a waste of stamina/time to make.

 

And i want to add: make it more simple.

Right now, for some of the potions, you need 6 different extractions.

So people with hardly no upgrades to composing slots will never be able to make a decent amount at the same time.

And all brewers know, the profits these days is in the amount you can make in 1 go, since you need good buffs to brew some of the potions and want to earn back those investments AND try to make some profit atleast.

The rewards/profits are very minimal if you cannot brew like 50 potions at the same time, and even then, they are small.

Not saying the potions should become more expensive, but make it worthwhile.

We need more people to be able to supply the market, this way there is a healthy competition between brewers, and not only some with maxed out component slots that can dominate the market.

 

And for the people who think i envy them reading this (i know of atleast 2 players, or 1 with a dual account, you know who you are..) i've been maxed out for years, and can dominate the market if i please.

I want this market to be open to new players, and not only the ones who spend 1000's of fsp on the game for upgrades.

This should have been adressed a very long time ago to be honest.

And specially since the introduction of composing.

Make it open to everybody, and for big brewers like me, add some more composing slots please :)

It's a nightmare for me at the moment as an inventor with all the extractions i cannot destroy.

Hi !

First I want to start by saying I love this idea!

Second, I want to state i'm yet again amazed by the people on this forum...

Why is bigger always better in this game?
Why do I always read "well then I can't be bothered" if potion levels are not greater then the ones we already have etc?
WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?

 

Try to think of other solutions to make this idea work.
How about the option to break down epics isn't there?
How about the level potions do NOT go past lvl 175 or 200?

I read lvl 2000 doubler and what not in a post, I almost cried laughing.

Why would these potions be ANY better then the potions you get for donating to the game?
Or even as global potions, which are overpowered in my opinion to begin with?!
People please stop this bigger better thing for once, it's destroying the game for years.

 

All I can comment on this is that I realy like (love even) the idea, but not how everybody wants it get implemented.

If the people above me get their way, PLEASE DO NOT INTRODUCE THIS TO THE GAME HOOF!!!

This idea was meant to give common items a purpose, and to sink some worthless items from the AH.

Not to make brutal epic potions, because we all know what will happen..

The rich benifit from it, the poor never have a chance (oh, and i'm not a  poor guy btw..)

Make the idea so that you break down common/unique/SE/legendary items for xx amount of "tokens" which you can then use to make some special potions, potions which contain buffs that might not be in the game yet as somebody else stated.

If you make higher levels available then buffs or currenly available potions, then I don't know how to describe this idea is SO HORRIBLEEEEEEEEE!!

 

You need to find a way to introduce this idea WITHOUT it affecting the auction house in ANY way, then it might work and be a good addition to the game.

Even if you allow LE gear to be broken down for tokens, this will affect the AH, so you better think good and hard about this.

Because in the rate we have LE events, introducing this will totaly kill every invent in the game.

There are already some items gone from the AH for months (or not affordable compared to invent item sale price).

When this idea goes live, all the cheap LE items will be gone from AH, if you allow epics to be broken down, all the Javelins/Hammers etc will be gone and double in price or worse.

There is hardly no LE map events anymore, so this will mean that only the people scavenging will make the big bucks again.

How else are new LE items gonna be brought in the game, right?

 

Please Hoof, I beg you.. think hard about implementing this.
This can be a game breaker.
