STRICTLY A CURRENT GVG SYSTEM SUGGESTION
I'll admit, I haven't read any of the other 15 pages but the GVG War thread got me thinking about ways to improve the CURRENT GVG system. How about we add elements of the PVP Arenas into the GVG system? Get rid of the level limit across the entire board. However, if a higher level wants to hit a lower level, they can only use gear of that level or lower(PVP Arena aspect). Level 350s can hit 1000s if they want since there's no limit for hitting upwards, only the stats they can manage to get.
You won't ever have level 1200s hitting a level 49 in a Skull Carver set. If they grab a Deathspinner set at level 40 though, they CAN hit that level 49 no questions asked. This will solve the issue of people not having targets to hit because guilds don't recruit below or above a certain level(which IMO is a big part of GVG dying).
Would it be possible to remove LVL UP Points when hitting downwards? That way higher levels don't have any advantage to their stats.
And on another note, would it also be possible to implement a 24 hour protection for players joining a guild? Too many times have people joined and immediately went offline before getting equipped. Then a conflict comes in and low and behold, guess who gets hit? :/ To prevent abuse of this protection, give a 7 day rejoin cooldown for people leaving said guild. That way you don't get people leaving a guild and rejoining as soon as the conflict is over(I believe Grendeldog said people did this to him when he GVG'd?).
