I noticed the following buffs offered in the current Christmas chest this year:

 

Warcry

Frag Finder

Allied Frenzy

Gambler 

Block

 

What do these buffs do? How effective are they (aka what is the percentage per point on them)?

 

Sidenote: I've seen for years certain buffs that are searchable in the AH but don't exist in the skill tree or in potions yet. Should we expect more potion only versions of these newer buffs?

BG mentioned in global earlier that there were new potion buffs. I'm curious what they do as well

 

I seem to remember from the new potions discussion thread that they were hoping to make a lot more buffs specifically in potion form, and that some might even be added to the poor neglected Loyalty shop, but I might have dreamed that while playing FS in my sleep.

Allied Frenzy: Increases the level range that Assist works by +1 level per point

Block:+0.01% chance that a player will take 0 damage in a combat round

Frag Finder:+0.1% chance per point that a Fragment Stash will drop the maximum number of Fragments

Gambler:+0.1% chance per point that a random stat will be tripled while all other stats are halved at the start of combat

Warcry: +0.1% per point increase in group member stats while active (excludes the Group Leader)

i don't see Gambler EVER being used. might need to be tweaked a little. maybe chance per point that a random stat will be tripled or gain no gold... idk...

I think it would be beneficial to have a post of its own with all the updates that came along, including these news buffs.

It will be used. Just like Invert, just a weird chance buff. Thematically accurate, but at some point you just wonder which chance buff is the one to make you lose a combat. This one goes to that list.

if i were to use it in pvp, i wouldn't want any of my stats lowered. i cant think of a time that requires it

all fren imo is totally useless as well ,dont think ive ever used assit since lev 1 ,but hey new stuff im happy

 

no lib 850 in boxes ,makes the celebration chest a bit more expensive

i would like to keep the celebration chest a rare release. keeps the price tag high

it will be at 25% ,so lets say im in my armor set up with 156k arm ,and that kicks in  thats 468k arm someone has to get round ,the other stats wont matter

   same if you have att def set on with nmv ,if it hits on att it will increase both 

 

this buff as quoted by xxx"can be a game changer"

Sorry.  Someone has a lot of time on their hands and Block just looks like another version of Force Shield.  Effective in PvP as well as against creatures?
