It's still fixable.

PVE wise the game is awesome, same with crafting and dungeons and everything else. PVP is the looming death.

We are making some changes to PvP in the next patch btw

I'm looking forward to it. I'm going to take a wild guess and assume you are going to tinker with rewards first, which is a great idea. Even if you don't do a complete rework something is better than nothing

All 3 of those are good ideas while the and will add to end game.... and AH will help the economy *cough* crash *cough*.

I can agree with everything except that AH will crash economy. It won't crash it, it will just set prices and guidelines instead of free trade. Sure, some stuff will end up being cheaper/ some stuff will end up being more, but at the end of they day prices will be more stable and items more available.

I agree with your statements. PvP is a big factor in every game, and HC would be remiss if they did not put time into fixing it.

 

I am concerned about the time needed to fix it, since it seems to be fundamentally broken. People can't jump into PvP because most players are using PvE builds. Also, not having a PvP build is greatly disadvantageous. Also, there is 1 mage and 1 prophet talent that will win you every CTF game. Obviously, people don't participate because they get steam rolled by how it is set up.

 

I believe large scale battles in Trappers with a difficult objective, worth capturing, that has destructable barriers and traps would be a better time investment. Of course removal of durability loss would be mandatory.

Back to the thread, insanely poorly built poll, you must've gave this about as much thought as your other recent fail polls.

 

Finally, I would like to conclude my freely opinionated post with this, Who cares if pvp is broken...? OBVIOUSLY, it is something that has noted numerous times. And I for one feel that if you enjoy pvp in games, then you should be willing to do it without complaints. Especially ridiculous threads like this one, that express your opinions, not a broad general view of the population. Seriously, just move on, it's a game for crying out loud. Go find another one if you feel this game doesn't satisfy your needs for pvp content.
