Couple years ago, I left a large guild of powerful titan hunter so that I can have the opportunity at seasonal without buying my way with teleport potion now its change. So No I do not like this new change! My opinion!

Teleport 200+ is just WAY too big an advantage ...

Seems a lot of the complaining is coming from those who had become accustomed to just easily getting the new drops with no real challenge... The system before did not allow for open competition so they just waited a few days and had no competition or very little.

 

A game with out challenges becomes boring fast, learn to adapt or be patient as next year there will be less competition to make it easier for you.

I don't think it's about fair competition, it's about that $60 potion, and the clever workaround to avoid a time one would normally be under cool down.   Maybe personal cooldowns need to be reworked, and adjusted.  IDK the solution, I just know my good friend has quit the game entirely over this matter, I fear more are to come.  The community is dwindling rapidly, and this hurts my heart.

 

We need more things to keep folks coming back, both the new and the veteran.   Things like this leave me wondering if anyone will be left for you to compete with.  And wondering how that could be fun.

I agree that a player using the 175 buff Teleport has absolutely ZERO chance against someone using Teleport 200 - and that the "competition" factor is gone now, unless everyone uses the same potion. Problem is, not everyone can ...

Not to long ago these pots were going for 100 fsp

If ya'll spent all your time insinuating that you had to pay to use that potiom you could of obatained it through free to play methods . Actually incorrect,Yes i used to get secures without tele 200 plus now I cannot that is the fundamental change that needs addressing. The System before did allow for Competition but so many players chose to stick to a mode of play which was outmoded by the cool down introduction.

Also this change has directly given fast hunters the advantage again yet to see one in here who thinks the way its working is wrong.

As for things being available to everyone as free to play while technically true with fewer donators Supply demand drives prices up forcing people to pay more for less, Try using a tele 230 against a hunter also using it who has a faster ping and same reactions good luck..people have wasted 100's of fsp having done so.

I play on a mobile device at 3g speeds, have limited time to be on the internet.....  I'm not you, I'm a sick old woman.  People have jobs, school, families to take care of.  Where I come from, real life responsibility comes first...  I've stated several times, I don't care about this for myself, other aspects of the game appeal to me.  But my friends like it and look forward to it every year.  They save, they plan.  Too many of the top players of the game feel this needs to be rethought.  I don't think our top SE hunter is wrong in his opinion this needs fixing, and I know he carefully plans for whatever he's doing in this game....

Leos, your thinking is exactly what is wrong in this game at the moment. It is in no way helping attracting new player or retaining low stam players. I'm sure these low stam player or new in small guild loved the easy drop (after large guild cooldown) from seasonal titan and was the main reason they stuck around. Your open competition as you call it is now only open to the player that buys their way in the game! It has nothing to do with challenges! I don't blame these players/guild for wanted to leave the game as they stand no chance without buying their way in!

I'm sure these low stam player or new in small guild loved the easy drop (after large guild cooldown) from seasonal titan and was the main reason they stuck around. Your open competition as you call it is now only open to the player that buys their way in the game! It has nothing to do with challenges! I don't blame these players/guild for wanted to leave the game as they stand no chance without buying their way in!

My thinking is that with the change, I actually have a chance to get a drop whether its through persistence or using powerful potions. It is not pay to play by any means, it is not like the potions are bound to the donators! 

 

I am sure the people who were circumventing the system for personal gains and selling their drops to the players in larger guild who had 0 chance of getting the drop because of cool down are upset. Their easy profits are gone at the expense of opening up the game to everyone. If you are in a small guild you still have an advantage in the fact that you can slowly collect TKP for a drop. The people in larger guilds still have to take big risks and hope that using bigger pots pay off. I have seen a ton of people who have used the teleport pot and come up short on getting a drop. So everyone saying that pot is a guarantee just do not understand what they are talking about.

 

The only titan this is dramatically affecting is the new quest linked titan, which has become a challenge for many. Shouldn't this game have a few difficult challenges that push people to think and figure out how to beat their competition? (you do not need a teleport pot to complete the quest... it may make it easier but it definitely is not required)

 

There are plenty of aspects of the game that have been watered down to accommodate the players who didnt want a challenge... explore those if titan hunting has become difficult or frustrating.

Dude, I don't sell anything.  My only interest in hunting any Titan would be to finish a quest.   I can't hunt this one, so, I'll skip the quest.   I don't see people that are geared towards profits protesting this cooldown thing.  I see ordinary players that feel this Titan, this change to how cooldowns work in conjunction with an overpowered and overpriced potion, has made seasonal Titans a rich mans game.  And with the exception of a few, the happy people appear to be the ones hellbent on getting rid of cooldowns for seasonals.    Those are who benefit.  The rest of us are told we should have saved and planned.....

 

 

This is a GAME!  It's not life changing, not something we should scrimp and save for.  It's supposed to be a way to get away from the harsh realities of life.   I'm not saving all year for a single critter that's here for 2 weeks.  That turns something fun into a job....  No wonder people want to profit from it.....
