Or. much more safely, you can download it direct from the creators website :)

Homer : Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals .. except the weasel.

Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but it seems that everything I eat lately turns to poo ...

I've updated to Firefox 8, and I like it, and the FS-Helper works fine...but, the SS2-helper (which, understandably, nobody has updated) was giving me issues on Firefox 8 (the key shortcuts would just stop working).

So, I used the above link to install a second version of Firefox 3.6. (I'm running Windows 7.) I just made sure to do a Custom Install, and then installed 3.6 in a different folder from the existing Firefox 8 folder. (For example, my original Firefox 8 was in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\ , so I installed the Firefox 3.6 in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox 3.6\ )

It took rebooting the computer, but after that, each version ran. And, I just did a hunt with Firefox 3.6 and SS2-helper, and didn't have a single issue.

I use firefox 9 now, and helper works fine on all but the maps..it will work for a short while, the freeze, and if I turn it off and walk a few steps without it I can then turn it on again for a short while :)

I wish someone would see fir \\t to fix it /update it, as the other option of running to Firefox's etc sounds like a lot of hassle to me...I like to plug and play..if I have to start rebooting pc etc I am lost

That's exactly the problem that I'm getting, and how I solve it. Specifically, what stops working are the keyboard commands. So, it's not just in the world map, although that's the place where I use the most keyboard commands.

Agreed.

By the way...I take back what I said earlier. I only got Firefox 3.6 + Greasemonkey to work once. After that, when I opened up Firefox 3.6, Greasemonkey wasn't there.

I gave up at that point and uninstalled Firefox 3.6, and just went back to using Helper on Firefox 8 and just dealt with its bugginess.
