Hi there Everyone!

It is a dark day. On this day, many years ago, the beloved Royal Family of Albiton were brought low by the insidious attack of a nameless Necromancer. The Albiton Family had potent Alchemists, who worked wonders with their potions. The Necromancer, fearful of this power, poisoned the Yeoman & Footman Guard of the Royal Household and raised their dead bodies. Thus the Royal House of Albiton fell. Trapped in their own towers with their own undead Guards preying upon them.

Now, the Yeomen & Footmen have risen again across the land. The Warrior of the Realms must destroy them. If you aid in this task, you can earn the potions of the fallen House.
 

 

 
The latest Global Event in Fallen Sword is now underway! In the Event, the Community must work together to destroy the Zombie Yeomen infesting the Realms.
 
Each player must earn a personal target for increasingly powerful potion rewards (mouse over the event info on the World page for more details) while also helping the Community to attain the best total kills possible, unlocking the rewards for all.

Additionally, if you end the event in the Top 100 Contributors, you will receive 1 extra Ruby Chests on top of what the Community unlocks!

There is a helpful forum post RIGHT HERE full of information on Global hunting grounds and so on compiled from the Community by Egami.
 
The Event shall be live until 14:00 (Server Time) on Tuesday the 29th September 2015.

I did notice though you got your dates mixed up... Monday is the 28th Sept.. not Wednesday

What's the difference between the 2 different named Zombies? Same Avatar pic? Do they drop different items?

 

EDIT: Nevermind, I killed 1 of each.. 1 gives 1 kill contribution, the other gives 5

Yeah. Yeoman Stash and Footman Stash respectively.

Always forcing us to be adventurers... lol...They got the good stashes though 10-15 commons 5-10 rare so on and so forth.

What's the difference between the 2 different named Zombies?

Different character art, different drops, one's more powerful than the other, one gives more Global Kill points. Slap em about a bit. See which is which.

Thx for the event however I liked the chests that could be opened 12 times, this Ruby tier chests in this global event has 3 chests that can be opened one time each so I guess I am greedy lol

There is no September 28th this year that falls on a Wednesday, October 28th is a Wednesday, September 28th is on Monday, I was highly confused when I first read it on the Home Page.

how much pots are there in 1 stash? Is it a total of 3? or is it 3 x 5?

Any chance devs can turn off the global spigot that continues to churn out hordes of the overpowered potions and continue making the game unchallenging?

I hit the ruby level and noticed I only had ten more kills to get on the top 100 list.  So I did it.  I then noticed another 30 or so would move me about up to level 90.  Once up there, I saw that all I needed was one, yes ONE kill to move up another notch....

     That dam' list should come with a warning

Only if they agree with your definitions of "overpowered" and "unchallenging."

Let me define for you and HCS what overpowered and unchallenging means to me. Both adjetives actually relate to one another in the game context.

 

Overpowered is equipping players with potions, in this case(but can also be with gear), so that players can accomplish any game challenge without thought and with total ease. For example, pressing 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 to level on EVERY monster including champions even with mediocre unforged gear is the norm. Skill levels in these Global event potions are an exaggeration beyond anything else in the game. And how do we get them? It takes about 3000 stam killing super easy monsters many can kill naked(without ANY gear!). I believe once or twice the top prize wasn't achieved. So the bar was lowered and I've even seen the deadline extended. I think it's a total joke that players feel entitled to get these ridiculous pots and HCS is more than happy to appease them rather than make the game challenging at this stage. Talk about milking it! Come on, let's see something done to develop the game. The now years of a lack of meaningful development have caught up to the game.
