Can we have an option to skip cutscenes in Vault or move the cutscenes to story mode? I don't think cutscenes belong in a dungeon that is done over and over - cutscenes should only appear the first time a player explores an area/quest.

#920289 [Implemented] Vanity Chest Dimensions
Posted by TimeWillTell on 18 February 2015 - 05:46
Hey guys,
Not sure how easy this would be to implement but it would be nice if the vanity chests had different dimensions, so you would make it 11 Slots high and 8 slots wide (I know this adds an extra 8 slots).
The reason for this is we would be able to neatly and conveniently store a Full Set of Vanity clothes in 1 line head to feet and can fit 4 complete sets per chest.
I've added a very rough picture made with MS Paint to show my idea
Best regards,

As in wearing angel wings and riding a horse together? Lol
Maybe be better if we could get more vanity of wings - and angel wings being one of them? Cuz I don't think you can use 2 mounts at once.
Don't know if you're being sarcastic lol but he is saying when you use wings then decide to use another mount instead.

#919109 Friend List 'Bug'
Posted by Ood on 11 February 2015 - 23:52
BUG:
Friend list displays friends online on different servers, but you cannot message them.
Add some indication of what server our friends are on please!
Also, please bite the bullet already and allow cross-server chat (PM/Chatroom at least).
Please do not wait months and months to fix this! Friends are essential to this game, not being able to chat with friends is a severe detriment to the game.

#918683 Give Players Ability to Create Custom PvP Matches
Posted by Doja on 09 February 2015 - 03:15
My first two games in a while are both horrible because there is a single level 15 player mixed in with high levels. The team with him gives up right away and everyone just sits around.
This has been discussed much before: https://forums.hunte...m-is-beginning/
Additionally there was a tank in one of the matches (on the same team as the level 15). Basically, PvP sucks if the teams aren't somewhat close to even.
I understand that it would be time consuming and difficult to make proper matchmaking. There could also be populations issues (the ONLY reason I can still assume low levels are allowed to mix with high levels in matchmaking). So the only logical solution remaining is to let players themselves create even teams. Us players, being humans, can much better analyze and create even teams than a program can.
In fact, this has also been suggested, here: https://forums.hunte...te-pvp-lobbies/
I played in Ice's 3v3 tourney discussed in the last link. It was incredibly fun although there were issues involving "spectators" who at times would decide to become participants. It also interfered with tab targeting. So basically, its time for this to happen.
Another option is to bring back team matchmaking. It would have to be separate from the current matchmaking, because nothing would be worse than a random party (including possibly low levels) playing a pre-formed team.
On a side note, I sure hope that the guilds release will also involve some form of PvP. At least then players will be creating their own teams and even matches are more likely.
-----------------------------------
EDIT: There are also other reasons why a match sucks. Two players don't like each other and refuse to cooperate on same team. Some player simply decides to troll the match in one way or another. ALL these problems are solved by allowing players to create their own matchups.

#918358 PVP Related Suggestions
Posted by Heal on 06 February 2015 - 02:04
Hey Eldevin Community;
I joined Eldevin a while back because of runescape nostalgia, but also because of the talent system and combat style. However my biggest gripe with the game has to be the innability to duel/open world PvP and to a lesser extent... The long PvP queues. (While I'm not a huge fan of structured PvP, its all we have currently)
I know there's a heavy presence for wanting PvP but I'd like to keep this thread to favorite types of PvP, death penelties, group/party teamkilling/inability to heal non-allies, and general PvP in Eldevin ideas.
Also; as someone who doesn't frequent the forums too much-- Any links to soon to be implimented ideas, etc are welcome.

#900153 Making friend list and alt characters more manageable
Posted by Ant on 12 November 2014 - 17:59
I think it would be nice if you could add a note on someones name when you ignore them, so you can remember why or make it that you can set your own name headers to add people too.
Example:

It is really tedious sometimes, having to add all your friends alts over and over each time they make a new character. Also seeing 16 people online when it is only one (and 15 alts) seems silly, not to mention how confusing it can be when your friend has 16 characters... who can remember all those? I can just about remember my own!
I think the whole thing needs an overhaul to become more user friendly.
Some suggestions:
- Make it a requirement for us to ACCEPT a friend request, before others can add us to their friends list. This is important in the next suggestions for privacy from strangers.
- Once a friend is added, it will AUTO add all current and future characters they create.
- The friends list and server screen should include the CHARACTER and MAIN. e.g. "Mongo(Flash)"
- There is no need to list all of my characters on the server select screen, just the one I am logged with. In the format suggested above "Mongo(Flash)" or if I am logged on my main , just "Mongo"
- Also I think it would be really great, if someone could just whisper "Mongo" and I would then receive that message, no matter if I am logged on Mongo, Flash or any other character.
So basically we are taking our main character name (account) and incorporating that to include every alternate character.
Also not sure if you fixed it yet as I have not ignored anyone, but if we add a player to ignore it should include all their present and future characters.
If anyone has more suggestions please post, also please post if you think this idea sucks. Thanks.
Actually thinking about it think the other way round would be better, so Main(alt). Here is a quick mock up I done of what our friend list would now look like (hope you don't mind me using you as example Razzy)
So Raziel Is logged on his alt Kainn and has accepted my friend request, I now see this:
- 021962, Undjuvion, aliadnan12 and 21 others like this
