Most in the game don't cut trees Just because the name says hand axe..... It doesn't mean lumber jacks axe....

My Severing Blade and the flaming one you get for the lev 16 quest cut trees. They are both 1 handed axes.

heroic goblin axe lvl27 i think also cuts trees. its only 2h axes that shouldn't

about axe back some time during beta, Not sure where it was posted!
1-h axe should have be able chop tree's - During closed beta Bloody axe had issue drop one in TR.
Not sure if fixed that bug or not might be why heroic axe not choping tree's as same axe name - change to heroic might be same issue.
Rare bloody axe chop tree's drop in TR if so fixed that issue but missed line code forheroic axe change!

The level 40 Bloodied Hand Axe from TR(Rare, not Heroic) CAN cut trees, so yes, the bug in the OP's post is indeed a bug.

Thanks for letting us know about this. In a future update all one handed axes will be usable for Forestry.
Two handed axes were never intended to chop trees.
