With various suggestions coming up regarding cross server functionality, I'd love to see a global Looking for Group.

 

With the current player base, LFG should be a viable option for finding groups.  But with players spread across servers it can still be difficult.

 

Ideally the system would gather people together on one central server for the instance and return them after.  Barring that, it could it could inform the player about a group and give them the option of automatically changing servers and joining.

Especially since i hear guild communications will be cross server *cough cough*

This central server would become overloaded if all groups play on same server...

if overload was a problem they could just set it up so maybe there's like SG1 and SG2, 2 servers for instances. idk

 

anyway interesting ideas and some form of it may have to be looked into by HC.

there needs to be something but the problem would be with lag and ping

I have never used looking for group queue, but this seems to be a good idea... if we can sort out the problem Zeus has raised.

Maybe they could use a system to find a ping in  which all players can play on?

Or Customize your global chat, for example there should be an option to advertise you want people to run ohdar and you will send it only on the EU and US servers.

But it is less complicated if people start getting used to GLF-1 more US server only.

We're working to diagnose the issues we were having on the high pop servers, we'd like to lower the number of servers and have busier servers asap however the level of lag users were experiencing was not acceptable to us.

Even still - allowing for a LFG feature across servers would help improve the search capabilities and the ability to group. Every time I've been on for the past week, I've been in the Temple of Three group search. I'm always the only person, and have yet to see a second or third person queue for the group. The only time I was able to join was with a group of players who just needed an "extra" to get to 5 players in their group. It'd be nice to see if other players are grouping on other servers, or if maybe I just smell bad and that's the reason I'm the only one searching for it.
