IMO the only fix that are needed is:

Additionally, as mentioned earlier in the thread, if your resurrection is cancelled during the cast for whatever reason(such as moving or clicking), it should not activate the 5 minute cooldown.

Each farm would have their own bonus.

 

Ex. At Othalo farm your crops have -10% chance to get diseased.

At Waterbrook farm, your crops water gets used 25% slower.

At Northam farm, when you harvest any vegetables, you get +5% yield.

 

Don't know if there are more I need to write about this, ask if you got any questions.

I've actually made a similar suggestion, but it was about ground animals and adding new skills: trapping and taming. I wrote that you could tame trapped pets and use them to fight by your side (as you suggested too), carry items, pick loot (others suggested this) and to mount.

Your post made me think of a third skill: teaching, where you teach the animals to fight better, run faster while mounted, with loot, with armour or without any extra weight. That's basically accuracy, strenght, speed and defence.

Disable homestone, insta-dragon and remote stash and vault in TA. 

No queuing, as it might get exploited. (i.e. I see a PKer come I scream to my friend on skype to join boondocks and join it myself after healing a pot and then I just tele to boondocks) I don't know if it's a good way to get away, but still.

 

If I'm located in Europe, do the US server lag more than the Europe? I don't want to get worse connection when I need it at most.

I'm updating the list every time someone posts a (or many) description(s) and link(s). The list is to avoid already solved/suggested suggestions to appear as new threads again and again. In example, There is 6 housing threads, if this thread would have been up and got the first housing thread on the list, then the 5 others wouldn't have appeared, as all would have posted on the first.

I don't think anyone would be nuts enough to try and farm there though so we can probably get away with not adding farm plots ;)

If you could speed up the actions to at least double the speed, then people would farm, because they get smuggled resources too. Doing the actions faster when you are in danger is quite logical, ain't it?

Make player mods.

Their job: to report such action and a pic/ or time stamp for it so devs can read the chat.

The devs read the report , see the proof and act according.

 

So a game mod can't abuse power, as he doesn't have any.

 

 

And i say this because when devs are usually, they are usually reading the chat or atleast looking at it once in a while. they only need help when they are not on or are busy.

If players (who ever) could send those timestamps. Why would the ability only be given to some player mods? There needs to be a lot of player mods to see all the profanities! HCS may decide how hard they punish those who have got reported. The only problem is: HCS is a small company a I don't know how much time they got to watch through all the timestamps, maybe if they would have a good program to quickly monitor all reported timestamps. 

 

If someone sends to HCS proof about a playermod abusing his powers. HCS could easily remove the playermod rank from him and even give him some sort of punishment. A playermod could mute players for 24h. 

 

IMO, there's no need to add playermods IF they add the "report timestamp" method to all players.

I like the idea of secret rooms, but I think the rewards could be i.e. a repair kit, a resurrection orb, a xp potion of any sort. The reward would be something that rewards who ever finds it with something that is good to have even what level you are, especially, if it's bound. (Then Newbies doesn't search for them only to sell the reward for a high price to a higher levelled player.) 

The secret quests have to be in the same place all the time, but maybe the place can only be found on i.e. night, Eldevin time (at arcane sanctrum, the wizard says: "Good night/day/evening/morning Winghilda")

The quest "A study in blood" was earlier very hard to find, if the secret quests would be as hidden as that quest (but, it could be found in the quest list -> people searched for it.) The quest(s) should be as hidden as "a study in blood" was and not show up on the list. 

A possible reward from a secret quest could be an additional ability-bar. Some people wants even 3 more.

However, now we are speaking the present meta.

It's harder to make huge changes when the game is more popular i.e. in RuneScape they made Evolution of Combat and thousands quitted. Making a good base is the MOST important thing you can do when you start making a game. (It's like building a house without good base) If they later buff/nerf some attributes many more will rage than now. 

EVERYthing you make that makes something worse have it's consequences, making the balance needed for future now is a good  alternative, as it won't give the game very bad reputation and the game can easily get a lot of new players via steam release.

So, my point is: make a good base with combat (and other) mechanics you want to see when the game is popular. 

 

So IMO, remove haste from sorc/range/melee and put it i energy. Nerf the dodge in sorc/range/melee and add dodge to focus. This will make energy good for aggressive classes. Focus would both be good for defensive and aggressive. Vitality would be good for aggressive. 

 

I usually think in longevity point of view.

I have noticed that lvl 50 ability costs 1000g and 1000g is also the limit of how much money you can carry as lvl 50. I doubt lvl 50's want to get max money for getting a ability as all money extra goes wasted. So my suggestion is a change to the max money formula. 

Current formula: [character level] x 20g 

New formula: [character level]

 

Level: (Current:) [New:]

2 (40g) [4g] - new players don't need even 4g 

5 (100g) [25g] - If you gather and sell, you might reach the limit, but you can easily increase the limit

10 (200g) [100g] - At this level you get your first gem-slot gear and you don't need perfect gems on it

20 (400g) [400g] - At this level there is no difference between new and current

30 (600g) [900g] - +50%

40 (800g) [1600g] - double

45 (900g) [2025g] - max for non-supporters atm 

50 (1000g) [2500g] - The currently known max level, at this level if you are not supporter you have to change your gold to EP, because it reaches the cap

 

Additional suggestion: Make a new sort of money - Platinum that's after the pattern 100g. The ore on lvl 64 could be platinum, but this would come with the fifth expansion, so it will take some time before that.
