 Perhaps this has been suggested before but....

 

I would like to propose a market place for the fragments them selves or perhaps the ability to list fragments (in bulk quantities) in the AH.

Not a bad idea.. Id like to see players have the ability to compose frag stashes/chests to be sold in the AH as well.

It's been brought up before, and was turned down by the devs.  They said that fragments themselves would not be tradable.

 

I seem to remember something being said about how that would bypass the need for backpack spots.

Total rubbish.... we had BP spots before frags why would it matter especially with the our frag function.

It would bypass the need for excess backpack slots, as far as the whole "frag farmer" thing. As it stands now, you have to have space in order to collect, sell, and receive items to break down. If fragments themselves were tradable, someone could just go collect as many as they have stamina for, and send over all the frags, without either party needing backpack slots. Additionally, someone could just keep creating new accounts, use the stamina up on the account hunting commons in Mountain Path, and send the frags off to another account. It's highly abusable.

bingo...this is exactly why it is a bad idea to have frag market..devs see things a little different than players..and usually the devs. are correct..
