I would love this, to be able to open a trade screen with your friends, even if you are in far away parts of the map. (friends list only to stop trade spam)
If it is possible I think it would be great!

While I like the idea, both of friend trade and pet/messenger, wont they be made redundant by the eventual release of a global market system...?

Well, if there was a fee to use the global system ( 5% of total value goes to taxes ) then a free friend to friend/messenger trade would be really cool.
If the global market is free to use, while a nice idea, would be a waste of otherwise better spent resources
