It is rumored that a new portal to the Aknir Depths (Entrance) has been discovered in the Ryiek Depths (Vents).

BG, I found the Elite on one square with Global creatures and was unable to kill it there. When I attacked it would just spin.

Wow - you guys are doing a great job with keeping the new content coming.

 

Is there any chance of an update to the OFSG? Its now 125 levels behind EOC.

 

(And I do appreciate all the little distractions---like global events, caves, composing and new content---that have been keeping you busy)

That's not something restricted to new content - that happens quite a lot for some players.

Would LOVE to know the cause of it - because it can affect CHAMPS and ELITES and SE's on a map, but not the basic critters and, when it happens, normally the only way to "get around" it is to revert to the old map, kill the beastie, and then come back to the new map again.

Would LOVE to know the cause of it - because it can affect CHAMPS and ELITES and SE's on a map, but not the basic critters and, when it happens, normally the only way to "get around" it is to revert to the old map, kill the beastie, and then come back to the new map again.

It would be nice to get this fixed before a (possible) 2X event soon.  Nothing more frustrating than watching the spinning icon, while you are waiting for a champion kill and watching your skill times decrease, esp PVP prestige.

I have that same trouble with Global creatures when they are on a doorway too. I have no idea what causes it, but it's been around for awhile.

I only get that problem with globals on doorways when I am using FSHelper with the new map - not always, but when it does I find that disabling greasemonkey solves the problem more easily than reverting to the old map.

 

Actually, to be more specific with the globals: it happens when I have both a global and a do-not-kill critter (FSHelper function) on a doorway, and I am tryiing to kill the global in location "1".

FSH isn't relevent here - happens with it enabled and without - so yes, I agree wid ya ...

I was talking specifically globals - I've not had the same experience when the champs/elites decide to spin.

nope, not for me anyways - there's no pattern that I can discern - heck, it can happen 1/2 way through a hunt ...

 

Next time it does tho, I'll make a note of what I'm hitting, how far into a hunt I am, what else is on the square etc etc and ticket it ..

Sent in a Support ticket explaining my findings. Nothing for sure, but maybe it will help you narrow it down

This happens with elites and champions that are the same square that has a "do not kill" creature on it. I solved the problem by deactivating the do not kill option of that/those creatures and can then kill the champion/elite. Bug has been around for a long time.

i never had this issue happen to me and i slaughter lots of different kinds of creatures..

The weirdest thing just happened to me.  I went to kill a Thoon.  When I got there, I tried to hit it.  Got a notification I needed my Pinata bat.  There was not a Pinata on the square.  I thought "weird" and tried again.  Same thing.  And again a third time.  I refreshed the page and that seemed to fix it... Weird, huh?

I only use FSH for one thing... to see if you have any gold for me.  This was before I made my first prestige run in days, so it would have been off.

You quoted me saying it happens with and without the helper enabled, and then asked me if I use the helper and if it occurs when I disable the helper ?

Are you having a "not enough coffee" moment, like I was earlier ?

 

When I'm levelling, I'm hitting new critters - so,no, in my experience, it's not related to the DO NOT KILL list ..
