Managed to get a teleport to the reroll cave for Infernal Weps. I unslotted my 9% Ruby and rerolled straight after. I went from +34 Crit to +296 Haste. I then went to slot my 9% Ruby and it wasn't there. I was not charged 50EP either for the unslot.

 

I've submitted a ticket but guys be careful for future reference.

while I doubt I'll ever make one of those ( no idea what will be for 50 cap) I didn't even realize one had to take out their gems before re-rolls so that's good to know.

 

hope they replace your gem and that's a frustrating bug for sure o.o.

shouldnt need to remove gem(s) before rerolling or does the reroll npc state it in bold with a warning if u have gems equipped at least?

I was told that there was a warning if you had one socketed. However I was told that before I went to reroll mine so I unsocketed them anyway so cannot confirm if that is the case.

I think there is a warning yes where you ahem to confirm but I assumed that because i'd already unsocketed (or at least I thought I had) then I was fine to click ok and it was just a final warning.

Sounds like the Unslot didnt work for whatever reason.

And anyway you should be able to leave gems im weapons to reroll. An extra ep charge to reroll is most unwelcome

That does seem very odd.  If you're paying EP for a reroll, it should including unslotting gems.

Essentially it means a reroll isn't 250EP its 350EP with unslot/reslot.

I expect the code is actually to remake the weapon not reroll the variables. Hence you destroy any gems.

And of course you only pay the extract fee once no matter how many times you reroll.

Yeah because the item becomes unbounded after reroll.
