#922282 Old Arena System ( 2008 Style ) + Suggestions

Regarding the new arena item/pot rewards.

How about the creation a new type of tokens?

For example, red arena tokens (current ones are green).

Old items could be exchanged for green OR red tokens, while new items/pots could be exchanged for red tokens only.

You would only need to be carefull not to implement new potions that would render the previous ones useless (if we have Light Foot 600 in there, Light Foot 700 could not be one of the new pots), because in this case green tokens would also lose value.

You can keep this method forever or for a certain period only. 1-2 years from now all the green tokens will be spent, or there will be so many red tokens into play that you can even convert the unspent green ones into reds without risking any flood of rewards in the market.

#913788 What do you guys do to make titan hunting bearable?

Posted by spartani on 06 January 2015 - 10:27

Try to guess where the titan will spawn next.

Sometimes I can guess it a few times in a row, like if the spawning position wasn´t random and had somekind of sequence, not easily detected, but that my brain intuitively can understand.

...

...

Hummm... have just read my previous paragraph once again. It seems like I am hunting too much titans and should rest a litle bit :)

I would hunt or buy eggs for shatter armor. Mesmerize is also not bad.

However, I am having trouble hunting them, since I am in mids 500s ...

And buying them, well.... no can do, since they are bound.

I bet there will be people discarding those drops to save BP space.

If the level gap between myself and the creatures droping them is business, the binding decision is something I simply cannot understand.

PS: @ Hades: Thank you for the complete report on the eggs buffs ;)

@ Yodamus

What do you mean by low leves? 1-100?

If so, there is a reason. Range 1-100 is one of the "hardest" to play in arena. For example, the set you use on 20 is surpassed on 25, this one on 35, this one on 42. At 50, another combo comes in play. 60 also. On 75, another. On 80 another. On 90 another.

Because there is not a big background of sets in lower ranges, you have to update your gear every 10 (or less) levels.

Obviously you don´t need to do it. You can use sets for wider gaps, 20-25 levels gaps maybe - but not more! - and try to win without using the best gear. It is possible but your performances will resent that and luck will start having a very, very big importance in sucesses and failures.

I said hardest, because it demands a lot of BP spaces and combat sets to compete in there. Just that.  I dont want to steal credits of higher levels. All arenas are hard to win, on all levels.

The fact is the BP room and combat moves you save by not competing in 1-100 can be used to compete in a wider number of arenas of higher ranges.

#906964 Content Roadmap.

Hate the guild-bound solution.

In fact, I hate all the solutions that have bound attached. I believe that if you wasted your stam, gold, or FSPs in getting some item you should have the option of using it as you please. If you want to use it, you can do it. If you want to sell it you can do it. If you want to donate it to the guild, you can do it, etc., etc.

Binding items is only justifiable when the item should be personal (for exemple, the reward mask from the moustache donation, the Hooftest set, etc.), or to prevent easy abuses (for example, manipulating the bazar potions).

Also accept binding in community orientated events, because of its particularities.

If you wasted thousands of stam, or millions of gold, to hunt or scavenge for drops, the least you can have is the option of deciding what to do with the drops, and not being limited to self-use or guild-use.

And why guild bound? Why not player bound? Any reasonable justification?

However, I do love legendary events, community events, titan events, XP events, and all other amazing events you make.

I am looking forward for the next weeks.

#840918 Game Update v2.39

I had the same experience and 10 minutes is too long.   I suggest 3 or 5 minutes tops.

I will try using it again, but cautiously.

10 minutes is too much time indeed.

This morning I had to wait 20 minutes to avoid getting "multi-buffed".

Luckely I hitted someone really online on the 3rd try, if I had missed also this one, that would be 30 minutes waiting for buffs...

Of course I could also have gone directly to someone online and not listed in the buff market, but the goal of the buff market is precisely to avoid such thing and make it a preferential spot for buff buying...
