Hello. After doing my forestring quests I wanted to do my mining quests. I was handed out a pickaxe.My rune (mage weapon) disappeared, when I equipped it, but it can't be found in my inventory (bag). Where has it gone?

If you press 'C' to open your character sheet is it still equipped?

Is it in one of your other bags perhaps?

 

To clarify there is three visual states ranged, melee and unarmed. You can toggle between these states manually by pressing the backslash key. When you do a ranged attack it will use your essence/rune instantly and will then show that equipped etc.

This tends to happen but we never lose your item. Its most likely gone into one of your other bags you didn't check. Its usually into your main inventory as the default. Perhaps we can add a chat message to say "Old equipped item has been moved to [inventory name], just to let you know where we chucked it in the auto-unequip case.

But I'm pretty sure you don't lose it

Ok, found the weapon again. Backslash doens't work for switching between my weapons. Is this due to my German  keyboard?
