I have a few ideas, hope they're not stupid...

 

 

Mines can have different yields, say frags or gold or, even rarely reserve stam, maybe even bonus prizes like those useless ruby rings, or a loyalty class potion if held till fruition successfully...

 

 

Mines have a decay rate, making them last a finite time when occupied, and can be plundered for a piece of the yield, or possibly even stolen outright, and maybe should be guarded similar to a relic.   Once occupancy time is expired, total yield is sent to your item mailbox in a box.  Hold times similar to global chests, maybe.... 

 

 

 

If a mine isn't discovered and  occupied after a specific time, it will vanish and respawn elsewhere, to a random location..  Like chests, spawns could be anywhere, you just gotta trip over it....

Interesting... Somewhat like solo relic... But more so than a relic. I like it.

Mining usually gives up things like gold, silver, rubies, emeralds etc. ect. 

 

We can craft and forge gear, make potions-gear-and bombs as we  quest.  It makes me wonder if there would or could be  coded an element to forging or as a stand alone feature, to put a gold or silver lining on things we own with stuff we get from mining.

 

There are so many options open here it has taken me some time to gather the words for this post alone, and I'm not satisfied with it even now because I don't think it makes my idea clear enough.

I think I get what you're saying Pythia.... Added boosts to gear beyond forgings, crafting or buffs, right.

That would be kind of cool :). I'm not opposed to any path taken all great ideas keep it up guys :). I like a combination of pythia and badpennies idea.

I want to read some of the creation history of the realm this game exists in.  I would like to play more with this.  Endless possibilities bound only by imagination.

Enemy hoards of whatever could have taken over these mine's and you could have to beat them to retake it. You are thus open to attacks from both players and random monsters throughout. Would work just like relic combat with players and idk for the other.

 

Could even make a global out of this somehow... Maybe even a guild vs guild event somehow.

if you wanting making it like guild vs guild then it meaning compitition and sad you need putting cool down for restriction for giving one man guild can win too or one man guild can not having chance winning in guild vs guild that needing teamwork

 

I thinking best is you not doing guild vs guild, to avoiding restrictions and cool down and letting players stay active in game and playing this gamestyle very often, need reward activity of players

 

can be one player need defending mine alone (player vs player) against players who trying capture mine, if player sucesfull in capturing mine, then he become defender of mine, longer you hold mine more mine resource you get

 

maybe something like this?

 

I liking seeing new ideas but need careful not bringing many new things because it will need coding, if coding is little then we having chance can getting it faster and I thinking that good

I was saying there can be a permanent version as stated by badpenny and pythia for individuals and also event versions for guild's also globals which come for 1-3 days at a time at BG's digression. Doesn't have to be any restrictions don't see why.

individual for player vs player and global event can working but for guild vs guild if I need being realistic I not seeing it will happening for reasoning I already explaining in last posting here

if I wrong, I hoping I wrong (but if I realistic I not wrong) then it will needing players in guild working in team, doing teamwork

Sorry sometimes theres a bit of a language barrier between us but i'm saying that the guild vs guild thing would be a limited time event. It would come and go randomly like a global event. Just an idea idk.
