Hello,

Lately, I have noticed that there is attack of advertisers (bots, players) that advertise a scam website of a cheap ingame currency EldevinPoints.
i've already reported two of them they got "suspended" and then open new acc's soon as they noticed that the bot is suspended.
A lot of mmo's have this problem from what i heard.
one of them is "APB Reloaded" that now is already recruited semi-moderators
to their game, and they gave them a previlege to make a faster proccess of reporting players by a command ingame
instead going to the support page of the game and make a report that takes much much longer

so what they exacly did?:
first of all they created a form for players to fill their details to see who can match to their ingame semi-mods
i remember that they wanted only players that play above 2 years and that have no bad behevior log (swearing, scamming, credit card fraud) in their accounts...

my suggestion:

my suggestion is to make something similar to what APB Reloaded did.

like one im thinking of is letting veteran players that play the amout of time that you eldevin mods think of

to use some kind of total mute command , and think about your limitations to this..

stupid humor is always good no?:

No thanks. This is not the first time someone tried to use an opportunity to get mods jammed into the game, and back then the sky did not fall in either because mods were not implemented. Pass anything on to hcs staff if you see something wrong.

That`s a first... best thing would be to report then ignore the player of course. I wish a nuke command existed though specifically for spam accounts and botters.  :D Seriously though I hope they won't start multiplying... then I think it would be a bigger problem.

I was (and I think still am) for this in some form.

If it did happen, the player mod should not be linked in anyway to the player account.

ANY action the player mod did would have to be documented with screenshots.

ALL actions the player mod do would be severely punished if done in a way that is not a legitimate case.

The ONLY action available would be mute.

100% everything is right of what you said.

if anyone still wondering about their scam site, go check google for [address of site - reviews] it will tell you that they are a big scam!

Support the idea.  Been a very long time, but (unfortunately) I vaguely remember HCS saying no player admins last time this issue came up.

An alternative suggestion that HCS has implemented in other games.  Add a report button to the in-game chat context menu.  Press, confirm on pop-up, and that player is reported.  If a certain number of people report a player within a given time frame that player is muted until HCS can review.

This is difficult to abuse, as it requires the coordination of multiple players.  To further discourage this, abuse of the report button will result in later reports being ignored.  I'd also add a minimum level (30?) before a player can report other players.
