We recently lowered the amount of durability lost per death to 8% down from 10%, we could look at the regular wear and tear again.

Much thanks for the reply Mojawk there have been some balanced threads on this subject I was merely putting the case for new players and their perceived playing viability. Its always better to encourage rather than discourage (especially with coming Steam launch) until anyone can make any sort of money in the game.

This thread is only valid for tanks. The rest of you make more from the drops than your repair bills cost, easily. Either distribute durability loss between all member in the group, or adjust the durability on heavy armor. If you are not a tank and are dying a lot, then seek advise on your setup and gameplay or seek help on tougher quests.

There are many threads like this one but I don't see that anything has been done to redress the imbalance.

Comment on them instead of making new thread? well now the thread is already big enough, but so you know for the next time...

The bonus is ~25-35% or so, so can go a long way to recouping losses from repairs, and yes, I find it unbalanced, and yes, there's threads on it! But in the meantime, at least there's a F2P workaround if you have a Supporter buddy.

Many items are bind on pickup...

adjust the durability on heavy armor.

Many warriors use heavy armor, so that doesn't only help tanks, it would make warriors repair bill minimal.

Zargon this is not true. For example, I ran a BT run yesterday and died (due to group wipe in boss room where there is no escape). And I received only one fair gem as a drop for the run...and not a popular one so unlikely to sell soon if ever. Also I have run RG and BT runs and received zero drops (except fusion powder) for an entire run.

For BT primary cause of group wipe is when healer dies. The spiders on that one corner, Lady Screamo, and (rarely) if the spiders get the healer on Lord Deathguy. Reason is healer has to be close to tank, and dps have to group close for chain.

Now you can say "get a good group" and yes I have had groups where tank is strong enough where I have been able to rez the healer, or where the healer is good enough to never die. But realize there are always new 45's coming up and starting on BT and RG. Experienced players (me for example) help train them. Finally, there is a big difference when the tank has the level 45 gear or still has only the 40 gear.

Experienced groups can run BT/RG with zero deaths repeatedly...not all or even most groups fit this description.

"Comment on them instead of making new thread? well now the thread is already big enough, but so you know for the next time..."

Thank you for the attempted slap down EJK.

The thread was to highlight areas which are recently more relevant due to the impending Steam release.

I am a new player so I made the thread as I had new player issues which are going to be Steam new player issues I.M.O.

Resurrecting old threads or hijacking them with almost relevant posts seems a strange suggestion by you.

If the Admins deemed my topic to be less than unique they would have moved / merged it to other threads.

Thank you for reading the topic but people who don't contribute and merely critisize the need for posts tend to be thought of as trolls which I am sure was not your intent as you make two fine comments later in your post.

PS

Thank you for the in game wave Doja and the buffs and excuse my English its not the best

You should read threads regarding the subject before you post as usually people have already posted a lot about the subject. And HCS doesn't move threads, because where would they move it to and the forum isn't coded to supporting merging of threads. Usually people ask questions that have been answered.
