I have been thinking lately about having an Award Ceremony of Graphics Awards for different categories (etc Most Improved Artist This Year). Also every year there will be a new host voted by you in a poll. You will be voting aswell for the categories that are going to be used if this takes place. When you vote please send a message to me in Forum Private Messaging or Fallen Sword. If you like this idea then there will be a topic very shortly on the hosts I have suggested and deserve to be host and you will vote on the poll.

 

I really hope this idea goes through because it will be nice doing that after the GGT. Any Categories you suggest please post on here

The only problems I could really forsee is that there isn't really many categories you could have, and there isn't really that many people active on this section of the forum.

This would be my concern as well. What type of categories are we talking about?

Any appropriate categories you suggest and everyone agrees with and what NoS said I agree with there isn't many people involved with the graphics community. Just recommend any active members as the Nominees for the Category

I think this would be a good idea for next year, once we enact some kind of plan to reinvigorate the forum and get more people in.

This could work, I remember something awhile back that was like this. We need to start encouraging artists to stay and make art.

Would you guys like me to tell you the nominees for this years Host??? Then message me on FS (Fallen sword) or Private messaging in the forum of who you vote for and ill keep count.

 

Also should I do a prize for each person that wins an award like donate fsp for this Event or just no prize just have an Image medal like the ones Cqinmi made. So I need an artist to stand up for that position. We could raise the prize pot by an auction like what happened with GGT prize pot

Hmm not too sure about the idea of an FSP unless this is going to a yearly award, then maybe an FSP reward and a medal sig would be good to have for each category.

 

I personally would be happy with just a sig medal as a reward. Art is meant to be about the love of making it in my opinion, not what reward you get for it. The recognition of improvement is more than enough.

Well it is going to be Yearly like every January, also it would also be nice to have an fsp prize, I know what you mean about art and I agree but as I said it would nice if we could give them a prize aswell as the sig to keep. Also thank you for your opinion

Sounds pretty good to me, IMO not enough categories and not nearly enough people in the graphics community anymore after the forum switch and what not, I think if we got a few more artists in it would be awesome!
