Shield in Question: Arctic Kite Shield (Not sure if applies to all shields)

Total durability count - 62

Moment before death - 10 durability

Moment after death - 0 durability

There is no way that -10 durability is 8%. Please look into it, when I die my shield breaks too fast and other armor with similar durability (67) is still at 35-40 durability while the shield is completely broken.

Please look into it, it's a waste to use a repair kit to fix my set when it's only my shield that is near/completely broken.

1. Make the group chat usable at log-in, able to click the group chat tab even if a group has not been formed yet. Although we still are not able to send messages in that window unless we're in a group, it'd be nice if we can still get notifications if we were whispered through it. I'm sure many of us have asked others to form a party, then immediately leave right after just so that we wouldn't miss any whispers.

2. Allow whispers visible in Custom Chat. Most of the time I miss a lot of important whispers because I'm always on custom chat and I'm sure a lot of others do as well.

3. Make the notifications from the chat window tabs more noticeable or flashy, they're so small that I miss them most of the time.

4. Add an option to enable a 'System Messages' window so that the General Chat doesn't get spammed when mining, foraging, crafting, etc. Also have a second tab to the window so that we can see if an admin had main an announcement, such as a server maintenance in case people were afk and missed the broadcast.

Seeing as how rare shields may obtain the Melee/Ranged/Spell Defense and Block Rating as random rolls, it doesn't make any sense that you can't slot an Onyx, Diamond or Opal into the slot. Shields contain armor bonuses so why is it not considered as an armor when applying to gems? The only gem that can be currently embedded to shields are peridots and the only thing that is keeping me from upgrading my shield to an Axe Shield (Lv 40 Heroic) is that I have a +330 Melee Defense Rating roll on my Artic Kite Shield.

Summary: Allow Onyxes, Diamonds and Opals to be embedded into shields.
