I haven't been able to replicate the bug but I think I can see a cause for this.

Basically the ranged attack has no cooldown at all which in theory shouldn't be a problem. Normally doing an action should block it from doing any extra attacks. Something must occasionally go wrong in the attack distance/speed calculation making it think it finishes much faster than normal. Not entirely sure what happens but the result is probably rapid fire attacks.

The best solution seems to be to add a cooldown which should hopefully eliminate the possibility of spamming.

Massacre works much the same so unfortunately the buff doesn't apply to the stats just to the direct damage as it happens.

 

Just testing the Massacre stuff revealed that it wasn't quite doing as it described, the numbers output after adding the talent didn't make sense.

After the correction, simple test Assassin using Melee Attack in full medium gear:
No Massacre: 402 damage

1 point Massacre: 450 damage

2 points Massacre: 498 damage

 

It not affecting DoTs is how the system works. DoTs are generally of a damage type that is not melee/ranged/spell even when those values are used to calculate the damage.

The obelisk actually works. It doesn't increase Healing Power it just increases the values of your healing output directly as described "+5% healing".

Some numbers from a character with no talents set at all (simplifies testing). 

 

Revitalize:

Without obelisk buff - 1019hp

With obelisk buff - 1070hp

 

Not every buff modifies stats.

Finally got around to working on a fix for this.

For fixing the main issue only one "Location" Ruffles should ever be spawned regardless.

The side issue was the accidental steal that happened if a player (Player A) on the quest stage talked to the Ruffles that had already started following another player (Player B). The fix will instead create a duplicate Ruffles to follow Player A in that situation.

Doodles looks likely to have had the same problem.

The fix should be in the next update.

Thanks for the report.

Seemed a bit strange at first, some invalid/incomplete score data must have been sent to the client which failed to handle it.

We're going to add a few improvements that should fix it and reduce crash risk for future similar problems. One particular change seems likely to cover the cause.

Thanks for mentioning the spells with incorrect descriptions.

We're going to change the displayed cast times for Fulmination and Meteorite to 1 second since they were the cases mentioned.

Unfortunately this one's on Cowboy, not something anyone else can improve/fix.

You may have noticed Applications are using Invites in the background. Due to this the player needs to be online to be able to automatically accept.

Would have preferred that a player was just added to the guild directly when the application was accepted which shouldn't need the is-online restriction.

Thanks for the report, a fix for this is in progress but needs a bit more testing. Not having longer lists of guild members in testing is probably how this bug was missed.

Think the fix should be in the next update.
