There has been a huge outcry for these guys. Players were asking for them. We obliged. On the other hand, 've only put them live for 24 hours.

Thanx for the event, good opportunity to hunt some shards ....

Glad i did not stumble onto a Dawn Chomper this morning, that prey description sounds just like me before my coffee ....

Dawn Spine Chomper is a Chomper that decided it liked to hunt first thing in the morning, when prey tends to be a bit fuzzy headed and potentially easy meat. Why its appearance has begun to mimic a cockerel is anyones guess.

Please don't take this as a rant BG, because that's not what this is. But I next time, you might want to take a look at the players causing this huge outcry - if you didn't notice, it was all players whose pockets would become even heavier than they already are with the release of the gnarled scarab chomper. There were few (if any) players who wouldn't directly benefit from the release of the chomper, but the problem is that the large majority remained unspoken, and so even though it was in their best interest to not have the chomper released, now those players get rich and everyone else gets screwed.

Whats done is done grim but please don't give in to people. Just keep the average cycle so the epic market doesn't crash anymore than it already did. First titan epics which really got me down because i used to be a really big titan hunter now its not really worth it for me(Due to titan rules debatably). Then the writhing wards were totally trashed now the gnarled epics will be trashed. You should really try to hold out on the begging and shouldn't always give in. More often then not you giving in ruins the game more and more examples are stated above of you giving in and the market getting progressively more and more un-savable. So basically inventing is becoming more and more less profitable if not profitable at all. Inventing titan hunting and gvging are basically the only ways to make money without paying for fsps and there isnt much money left in them. Essentially the game is becoming more play to win and i really do understand how essential buying fsps is but at what cost. Upgrades cost such a crazy amount that upgrading your character is just becoming impossible with the current market. Surely i and most other people wont pay thousands to upgrade their character either. I think something needs to be done to save the market maybe less frequent LE events and possibly adding epic fragments to composing. Also i think discontinuing the inventor 1/2 500 chest would be a huge help. Just food for thought.

Thanks,

Epic

Thanks,

Epic

In the discussions that developed composing, HCS accepted that the need for LE/crystal fragments meant there would need to be regular LE/chomper events. It is arguable that what you are complaining about is a direct consequence of composing. I really don't think you want that to affect epics as well.

In the end, if you are able to sacrifice an item to make a potion worth a few FSP at most, then that item will have to have a value of less than those few FSP. Composing will only ever maintain the high volume market (i.e. selling lots of cheap items), and NOT the high value market.

Hi there Everyone.

Once again, the vile Spine Chompers have been driven off. Hopefully, they will be gone for a while before their next assault!

Yes that's why the potions used from epic fragments would have to be very desirable for it to work.
