Every time i come to gather some ressources for my crafting a piece of dirt goes wild, and steals half of my farm. For myself, with every time i get killed, im one step closer to leave the game and im sure there are other people out there who felt and feel the same way.

So either: make peacefull players unattacable, remove pvp to a different island/arena or take some sort of other measures to solve the problem. It is wrong to suspend normal players as bait to counterstrike kiddies, gankers and other human waste and i doubt that it benefits the game as whole.

Unforunatly, TA is a free for all since the resources there are able to get in large amounts. So either you have to be skilled in pvp, get some friends with you, or better yet, avoid TA and all its drama together.

Been discussed before.  TA was created specifically for people who enjoy PvP.  That was its primary purpose, to give something to PvPers.  Yes, faster resourcing is there as bait, and to give some sort of extra reward if you choose to gather there.  But it is a PvP zone first, so if you go there you take your chances.

You have other options if, like for many of us, PvP is not your thing.

1)  Deal with it.  Overall you can still usually gather faster on TA.  Make lots of trips to shore, cashing in or storing smuggled mats.  (Only smuggled are taken, once converted to regular mats they are safe.)

2)  Check who is at TA when entering ('/who realm') before leaving the safe zone.  Only enter if near empty, or all players are people you know are gatherers.

3)  Don't go to TA.  Everything that can be gathered on TA can be found somewhere else in Eldevin.  You lose the double resources, but no one will be gunning for you.  (And you do have a chance for rare mats when farming ore/crystal/trees outside of TA.)

What does the one part have to do with the other? Some people wanna farm, others wanna pvp. Why are they brought together?

I like the TA as gathering area as the ways are short and the ressources are well stakable. It appears to me fair to restrict the area for premium players only, or what not. However, forcing peacefull players to accept the antics of pvpers is respectless towards the first. And rewarding pvpers with a much higher ressource gain ... for what?

As i said before, i think i myself will choose a fourth option let eldevin be good.

This. There are plenty of places to gather outside of TA. I had all of my professions to level 30+ before I even ever went into TA. TA is not obligatory.

And there are players (not me) who think "fixing it" means taking out gathering nodes altogether, thus eliminating the whining/drama that happens when someone has their stuff stolen.

I think you missed my point.  When I joined the game in Beta, there was no TA.  You gathered in the various places (helpfully listed by Jr).  There was a call for more PvP, and to that end HCS added TA.  The resources and boss were put there as an added attraction, rather then just a big dead space.

In other words, TA was not the gatherers asking for easier resources.  It was the PvPers asking for an open world area.  The rest was just to add something to it.

So there are two choices, either way you have to work a bit.  Farm the old way by going to the various locations, or deal with PvP.  As in real life, sometimes you have to make choices, you can't always get the best of everything.  If all this is really too much work, I suggest you play "Progress Quest".

Ok this guy makes me laugh. He's crying about being pk. Ask all the ppl that do pk how many times they killed me and took the goods and than ask them when have I complained about it. Its TA and I for one don't want it change to make it easier for gatherers(this is coming from one). Its a challenge and if you can't handle it don't come around. Plain and simple, its the big boy island!

There have been times that I have spent hours on TA gathering with no problem. There have been other times that I do the same only to be killed and lose almost everything I had. That's the risk I assume when I go. I'm not skilled at PvP so I know that I'll almost always lose in a TA confrontation. There are things you can do to increase your odds of getting out with all all your stuff intact--get on one of the servers that is least populated, go to TA during "off times" when fewer players are likely to be there, or go with a group of friends to watch each others' backs.

I get killed a lot and I never take it personally. The game's supposed to be fun and on TA getting killed is sometimes simply part of the game. Have fun!!

Maya said it. can't add to it. well said.

They already have mentioned creating a new pvp map which if more fun for the pvp players may have them going there more when and if it comes out however HC may also put in place some tempting rewards that even pve players may want to venture on the map though I kind of doubt they add obtainable mats there because we have that already with TA and why repeat that.

even so there are still dailies some of us will still want to do including the pvp players and any pvp map that is open to everyone whether we are pve or pvp comes with the pvp warning applied to it.    I"m very much like maya, pve player who while I've been asked by friends to come and join pvp stuff (arenas, pvp play in ta) and I appreciate their offer to teach me I know from my own past experiences in other games I'm just not built for pvp competitions.

I distinguish pvp from pk style pvp as in pvp between two or more players that is agreed upon for fun and competition or within a setting like arenas or how in other games they may have things like guild competitions etc and pk'ing random players in an open pvp map.

I'm one of the peaceful player types that I am not interested in pk'ing players and have no need to kill them for mats or tokens.

I rather not have drama for those that don't take things lightly when killed nor do I like making someone feel bad if they are sensitive to these kind of attacks (some will be and some won't).   however I know when I head to TA there is a chance someone may attack me regardless of that.

my options are to go when I feel maybe there is less chance of that.  to do my dailies and then head off the island.  come help with PL then leave.   try to leave before someone I know will in fact attack me because they are in rampage mode lol and hope I get off the island before they find me lmaoo.   die when attacked and then go do something else lol.    try to pew pew back which usualy is like seconds before I die anyway hahaaa...must be boring for them to attack me.

meh I may lose mats I have on me or even a token if I haven't deposited it ( I am ocd with tokens, so you are never gonna get a token but maybe one if you do cuz I deposit them as I get them lol) but it's not like I can't go back another time and if I"m foraging after I get my dailies done and I lose stuff I just forage outside of ta (which I mostly do anyway so I can be semi not paying attention if I want to).

options...we all have options.

friends don't pk me and I appreciate that kindness. <3

those that know I'm peaceful also usually are kind enough not to pk me as they know I won't pk them. appreciate it <3

those that may catch me there and pk me ( on my mage that could happen especially even some people that know my main may not realize that's me lol) welp, it's not big deal. I went there I already know the risk.

btw if you kill me during PL and I"ve already attacked it, please note that I will just wait till it's dead, I still get my daily done and then you have one less person that came to help.

I just don't bother to head back because it's a waste of my time to keep getting killed and coming back while we are killing PL in the process and I can get my daily done either way. js.   rarely happens but when I am at PL I"ve come to participate to help those that may not be able to kill it without the higher players so I just assume if you must kill me, wait till after it's dead lolol.

*runs away leaving a trail of cookies for you to trip over*

Slow but steady wins the race or something like that.

I'm just taking it slow, not sure about the steady.
