why can you not set a way point on the world map? and if you can will some one please tell me how!

when i talk to the captain when at the desk reading it puts me in a loop to where i flash back to wich ever door i entered and i walk up to him agine and this only happens if i double left click on him if i left click to talk it works ....... someone else try this and see if it happens
