What happens with you interact with the door, I've just tested this on my character and it worked fine. Your using the cellar door outside correct?

yes i use the key and nothing happens.

Heya, I'm having same problem. When I try to open the trapdoor, clicking "Use Key" -button doesn't do anything and I can't advance in quest.

I managed to get around this by clicking on the key in my inventory and then clicking on the door.

 

However I had the same issue before I tried that with the auto use key thing that pops up.

Same problem,fixed doing exactly what ern said.

 

The funny thing is...when making the quest for arcane council,u need to walk a lot,kill monsters for a guy to give u an key to open the door... 

 

Making for eldevin army,u can easily kick the door down

yeah have to drag key to the door thanks a lot ern

i clicked on the door and it requested the key

gave it the key

the door is now unlocked

click the door again to go into the unlocked door as many times as you like

Thanks for letting us know about that. It seems to work intermittently, but a fix should be coming with the Easter update.
