Vote how you wish, but I think where we are at with story modes is already at it's limit.

 

I myself think this will cause less people to group up and turns this game into more of a game console type game.

Yes, but make em slightly longer or tougher. Solo should not be faster than group when it comes to instances. Or give only 1 relics as reward (2 for supporter)

 

Or as sd said on update thread. Remove weeklys from Story Mode. Maybe do it all.

Let the reward be for one mode or another if for some crazy reason people are afraid the rewards are too high.

 

Like I said in the other thread, I'm not asking you to solo only, don't try and force me to group. And before you go off on the why are you playing an mmo tangent, just don't. I've been playing mmos since Lineage and if you don't get why forced grouping doesn't equal mmo then I'm not explaining it to you.

Point is they have story mode BT at level 45 already. Why have the other dungeon story mode as well. If you want to solo only, then fine. Do the story mode version. Just like they did with Garai and didn't make story for Secluded Valley. If HCS builds a story mode, then there should be a separate dungeon at that level that is not story mode. And as long as the rewards are far greater and less time consuming grouping, then it should work. However, that's not the case and HCS keeps piling them on creating a game console type game and less of an MMO feel.

Im level 30 and I have discovered that dungeons without choosing are the best.

I often go solo when I go 1 level over the dungeon access, and I can easily beat them myself. This will let me have all the loot! But that's not the point of dungeons at all! I already have skilling. Why do I want to spend rest of the game alone too??

2.)What they need to add is more and fun content. like 10-20man dungeons.

[which lock on weekely & give the highest money and currency gains.]

I am not against story mode, let there be one for every dungeon in-game, but make it a daily lock thing. each done can only be done once per day.

1 per hr sound better like most thing in game 1 hr cool down. Each story mode can be completed every 1 hr simlure to world boss kill reset every 1 hr after complation.

Many other thing averge on 60 min cooldown sys.

 

1 hr - 60 min's Sound like mangeable thing to do.

 

As well remove weekly RG - BT from story mode.

 

Been stated working on story mode for all DGN heard To3 was next on the to do list why RG ?

I'll add my 2 cents for what it's worth (probably not even a penny :)):

 

I voted yes for a few reasons:

 

1) There are already story modes, but level ranges are missing (35, 40). These should be at least filled in if you have other level ranges. There should be no "locks" or "limits" unless you do the same thing for dungeon modes. This is one of the only ways to really gain relics in order to make/buy gear, as most dungeons aren't even being run anymore. 

 

2) It's hard enough trying to get a group together for most dungeons. Since I have started watching chat for runs, I have run 1 To3 dungeon since I turned 34 - and that's with multiple requests about looking for the dungeon. When I log on, I queue for the dungeon, and I'm usually the only person in the queue. There is not enough dungeons being run to not put in story modes.

 

3) Sometimes it's better to know that not completing something is on me rather than on the group that I have. There are plenty of people on this game that don't know how to play their characters unfortunately, and that brings the "group" play down, part of the reason I hate grouping. Perfect example was back in the beginning of the game - Odhar Scar play with 90% of the people not understanding how to do the dungeon, even after explaining it to them.

I voted yes.  I am very much a solo player.  I enjoy being able to trade, chat with friends, help lower level players thru dungeons when i can and generally interact with other players in the game.  I very rarely get a large block of uninterrupted time where I can commit myself fully to a group dungeon.  I feel that shouldn't hold me back from being able to get at least some of the decent gear in the game.  I am fine with Story Mode giving less loot and less relics.  That makes total sense to me as a solo vs. group dungeon.  I understand I will have to run the dungeon solo many more times to gain the relics, but that is a choice I make going solo.  

 

I also disagree with taking away the weekly quest choice in the story mode.  Again, as a solo player I believe I should still have the ability to get things like flakes so I can eventually get my gear together.  Maybe a suggestion is to make the weekly's limited to once a week per account, instead of per character (so each player can only do the weekly once, instead of once on each character)?  Just a thought!  :)

Look, if HCS is bent on doing this, then add more purpose for tanks and healers. Because as it stands, you are eliminating them from the game with having all level dungeons in story mode.

I voted yes...but imo, story mode shouldn't be nearly as rewarding as dungeon mode. Playing with a team is 10x more fun and it brings the community together. Storymode should be used for completing quests and maybe getting the relics and armor at a slower, yet do-able pace. Dungeon mode should still provide money and gear faster.

Please try to understand .......... some people want to solo. Don't throw your toys out of the pram because you want to force others to do groups because you want to feel special.......... and the laws of averages are you will not be running with these people and probably have your own crew you would do dungeons with anyway and are comfortable with. But at least you stopped the others enjoying the game and now force them to stand around begging for groups while you happily chug along.

 

Also sdcricy, how many people have EIGHT LVL 45 alts to grind all those flakes. If anything you should be limited, not me, I am fine, you need to be reigned in. Like if you run the dungeon on 3 alts, after that on any alt it gives NO BONUSES ANYMORE OR FLAKES OR YOU CAN'T RUN THE QUEST if it is not first time or story related.

 

Also go run BT again and see the loot you get. Chest do not even drop regularly now or anything. What exactly do you want. Nothing to drop. Let people play how they want.

Uhm.. I'm ok with story mode. However yes group dungeons should have more benefits.

Personally I always thought story mode to be more for completing the quests.. and group dungeons for the drops and stuff.

I have made BT weekly quest dungeon mode on 0 tank we was 2 healer it worked (we skiped all boss) So tank needs to made boss in BT when doing weekly. Btw BT weekly quest was super slow on 0 tank so tank speed it up
