I've noticed when mining if you equip the mining axe you mine faster.

 

However with farming you only have the Water can and shears.  The water can can't be equipped (but still has dps stats???). So really you just have the shears (no dps stats-another oddity).

 

Could we have other tools which reduce the action times of our farming?

 

A rake and a shovel would be nice.

 

This might even get people to group more while farming as people might work together more to increase yields and speed up farming overall.

I sign this request, I think the devs should create tools for each craft based on levels. For example for mining until level 12 copper ax, after level 12 maybe a bronze ax, after that iron ax, steel ax etc etc. Maybe the same for farming and the rest of the crafting professions.

Eh what? Farming has the compost to speed things up...

compost speeds up the growth rate of plants but that's not the all the time spent.

 

I'm talking about the actual time of the cast times for raking, adding compost, planting ect.
