#999914 Fallen Sword Set Editor

Are you updating the items and sets manually?

I have a scraper set up here

It's fairly primitive right now but it does present a REST API

No, that would be madness :)

I develop Ultimate Fallen Sword Guide parser for items/sets crawling at https://github.com/m...se-guide-parser

Hi all,

I would like to present to you the online tool that I finally manage to port from C# desktop application to web application that requires no installation.

Fallen Sword Set Editor (FSSE) is a free online tool for building in-game gear setups. Always wanted to check all possible layouts but didn't have in-game money to buy all variants? Not anymore.
Have 7 pieces of equipment and would like to find 2 piece set that would fit in your setup? That is now really easy.

Little about the history of the tool.

The first version of the tool was written in C# as a desktop application way back in 2012. Screenshots of application available here. But sharing executable file is not secure and people other than your friends who trust you will typically decline accepting it, so idea to convert it to a web application is born. But life happens and we all get carried away with other stuff in our life and so this idea was put aside for some time.

And here we are, 7 years later, the idea was brought to the table again and realized.

As a software developer in real life that believes in Open Source Software (OSS), FSSE is OSS tool, meaning, source code is available on GitHub:

I strongly encourage all who know and want to contribute to this tool in improving it.

Here are some screenshots of the FSSE:

Thanks and enjoy,

I was trying to make one by using java/html. I made a input field where u can copy the whole source code from the official guide . I tried putting this in a variable and extracting the realmcontainer (getElementByClassName()) by class and then extracting the images source by tag getElementsByTagName('img').src but it didn't work and I don't know enough of java to fix the problems. Once I get these image sources in a array then it is easy.

So I went on by a different approach by coppying only the realmcontainer HTML and letting java replace everything. <tr> by |- and <td> by | . It works but it still needs to be hand corrected since some things aren't removed cause they are different on every page (mouseover events and onclicks). IT also doesn't work in any of my browsers so I have to use it in the tool I made it with.

First, Java != JavaScript :)

Second, feel free to contact me at any time with any programming request, I have lot of experience in this field as I'm web developer in RL.

either way, its much easier to look for things when you know where they are. Its to easy to select a random potion bottle by clicking randomly but it would be very hard to find the right one if they are in a random order.

You will have templates. They are there for the reason You just said.

You create template with desired bottle, color, skills, duration and save it.

Then when You want to create desired potion, You choose saved template and create potion from template.

No need for reselecting bottle or color as You select it once in template.

As I can see, Moderators become players that was very active in forum and was normal in they communication with other on forum and I agree with that decision.

EDIT:

There are still available "profile badges": status_1.jpg

Maybe add them to players that are moderators?
