[Wicked Ways]

Hey guys! Myself and a family member have just started playing about 3 weeks ago. I have been looking for a game similar to Runescape Classic for many years now. You know the good  one, before all the bots took over and it all became about cash flow like it does with so many games now days...So I get on here tonight and read that ELDEVIN is not getting updated as often as it should etc...Tho I found that a bit disheartening, I do have to say this. Even after reading a few threads here and knowing the game hasn't had the attention we all think it deserves. It is absolutely awesome! I am a 20+ year gamer and this is the first time a game has caught my attention like Runescape did many years ago when the game was new. On top of that it has some of the better aspects of World of Warcraft implemented into it as well!!!! WHAT?!?!  A few observations we have made since we started playing are this: (1) The older players are found to be very helpful and friendly. (2) The game content and potential is (in our opinion) off the charts! Anyways just wanted to put in my 2 cents and let the Zephyr community know they gained at least 2 more newly devoted players to their ranks. Thanks for having us!

Can't agree with Wicked Ways comments more... this game is awesome.. the trick is how to get that message across to other gamers so to build player base... let's keep trying by telling all our gaming friends about Eldevin!

Thanks for the welcome guys.I agree Gotan,i've been telling real life friends that like to game about it as well.I haven't yet but even thought about posting it on my face book. If everyone done that,hell even if we just got 10 players that's 10 more to reach others lol.Legolis your absolutely right,Advertising!!! I had never heard of Eldevin,i just happen to find it by a lucky chance.Oh well...either way me and my friend will both be on for some time to come.Look forward to getting to know you guys,

Agreed. This is my go to game when I have online access (alas, at the moment, I don't have reliable access - I'm typing this from a slow public wifi).

 

I've often said that this is this best game... that hardly anyone plays.

 

Alas, although the devs made a cracker of a game, the playerbase has never taken off. Also, I think their timing was a little off. MMORPGs are on the way out, as are any game that asks for time commitments. Most gamers seem to be shifting towards quick, mobi-style games these days. Or at least that's how it seems.

Very slow updates for new content and grind is what killed this game. Thats why you dont work on 5 games at  same time with limited development team. Last time i played it like 2 years ago and you still dont have 50lvl yet, okay then
