Hey guys! We were discussing the idea amongst the team of letting anyone in an alliance start a rally. We'd love your feedback on it! Please choose an answer to the poll in this post or leave us some more detailed feedback in the thread!

Thanks for your help!

(Also, just as a heads-up, we are planning to improve Rallies in a future patch to let you target more enemies.)

Hey Eldevin

The black ops event should happen more frequently, say every 2nd week end?,along with the other 2 events, shard fall and Nuclear winter, maybe stagger them,1 each weekend.

what was the reason of only allowing officers+?,i can only see a slight one,so that a member does not lead many troops to their doom?
maybe allowing veterans also do it might be a better idea, but for me personally i have not found much use for rallies, yet

From what I see on Gamma the rally system isn't used. Most tried it and had glitches or found that a full wave on our own would do more damage.

I agree with Leigh it is not used/useful as it takes too long and you are limited to the amount of troops you can supply at once. If I /others could start a rally and contribute as many troops as we wanted it might be a little more useful.

Hi HCS team.slowlyu might as well give the permission to start a rally to everyone.
If you do, please increase the amount of simultaneous rallies.

Though as others have already mentioned, the rally is useless as a way to retaliate for the "small guys".

Just to mention the biggest obstacles:

* Win/loss ratio between the different level of tier troops is so bad,
it is not possible to summon a rally actually big enough.
Lower level players with only tier 2/3 troops, would need
an army much bigger than the current max 2.5 mil, to make
any impact on a player with a lot of tier 4 troops.
Apart from that, it is unlikely enough players are
willing to sent their troops into a high risc attack.

* In a rally with a mixed level of troops,
the lowest level players are the first to lose their troops.
In an attack, the first troops to die are the lvl 1 troops, then 2, 3, and at last lvl 4 troops.
This means those low level players that are already getting targeted the most,
lose everything. Possible months worth of recruiting troops are gone,
no med bay.

The imbalances in the game are a problem.
Just to show that this is not just my opinion, i suggest to take a look at
the reviews the game is getting on steam.

In order to improve things for the little guys just a bit,
i would suggest that the shield not only protects the main base, but outposts too.
Troops killed while gathering or contesting should go to med bay.
Shields should be more affordable.
Edit: Would be nice if the rally can be recalled. The rally moves so slowly, a lot can happen before the troops reach their target.

Regards

Two concerns with rallies:

1. I feel that a rally should be approved by an alliance leadership member to prevent chaos. If an alliance has a NAP with another alliance and someone gets angry and can set a rally at any alliance level, problems could ensue. So I voted no to allowing anyone to be able to set a rally.

2. The rally set times are way too long. Need shorter set times, they should include 15 minutes and 30 minutes as in other games. No one wants to tie up their troops for that length of time. Also include a way to chose the type and level of troops sent into a rally so smaller members do not get all their lower level troops killed.

Thanks for listening.

Thanks for the feedback all, we'll be looking at making some rally improvements in an upcoming patch.
