Story Mode Dungeons are destroying the multiplayer aspect of the game

Have to say a couple of things about things other than story mode first , kidnapper rein u have a much different view about forced dungeon .. I dont need to say anything else , kidnapper rein :P

2ndly i agree with mog , i often invite (if i have a chance) new ppl , new dps for high lvl dungeon runs and DUE to lack of experience in dungeon mode and overrunning story mode which is not their fault they often cause troubles in dungeons and then the tank dosent feel like running with them anymore , nobodys fault but a problem (blame someone i say blame blissy)

To fix these we need more tanks , due to slow speed of lvling many players dont want to play as a tank which then leads to frustration bcz they cant find groups ... I say fix tanks first .. Somewhere deep in templar tree give them 50% increase to dps or an increase in dps , deep in tree so others cant exploit it .

FIX THE TANKS AND THIS WILL FIX UR STORY MODE

Of course you wont find group for dungeon mode,whats the point to run it when you can finish story mode much faster.Even if they make dungeon mode more apealing(which they shouldnt do because its fine as it is and is not the problem) still story would be faster and be prefered over it.Also you need to take the lead,everybody is looking but no one tries to make a group (good advice i was given by a friend) J_Quan the fact that the game is MMO is very relevant .Please tell me where is the MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE part in story mode,when you can do it all by yourself?Those who say well you can run story mode with 5 people so is MMO,well that only leads to another problem of story mode or should i say easy mode?.The difficulty of normal mode is fine,there is no point of easier mode especialy one you can do all by yourself.Option that alows you to solo dungeons in MMO game shouldnt exist.If HCS continue in this spirit they might as well shut the servers down and sell this as single player RPG game.

I meant that the fact the fact that this is an MMO is irrelevant to how much time I spend playing - a game is a game  ;)

 

To address the Massively Multiplayer Online portion of story mode: there isn't and I am well aware of that, but if that is your argument for getting rid of story mode do you also want to get rid of gathering and crafting for the same reasons?

 

 

I also think that once a guild and AH system are implemented, people will run more dungeon groups as a knock on result since the best gear is only obtainable this way.

 

I didnt meant that he cant play because he doesnt have time to play  hours and hours .Most people have social life and go work (unlike me)and i respect that  but the fact that he playes 10-15 mins and wants to get dungeon runs is litle bit stupid in my eyes.If he spends like a 30-60 mins on other hand i would look at it diferently but dungeons and geting your relic set are suposed to take time not to be something that you can do quickly.

As already stated, I like in for 15-20min at a time - I dont expect to get a dungeon run in during this time however story mode offers me the option to do so if the mood strikes me which is the distinction.

Just think of it this way - Eldevin is not really a hardcore dungeon runners game.  Most here are just Runescape type folks who want to quest/explore/craft/socialize, and stop dungeon running the moment they get their gear for completion only.

Gathering and crafting are suposed to be solo or if you are lazy buy the materials for lv up crafting ,thats how it is in almost every MMO game but on other hand dungeons....Yeah i might have been litle bit extreme saying that they should remove them.Still that doesnt change the fact they should be changed in some way,for example limiting story mode to a certain amount per day is good way to do it like is sugested in the first post.With the rest i dont agree unless is limited to very litle amount like 3 or 5.

If they make relics account bound, imagine the help the newbie would get since alot of 45 have alts they want to level. Then you won't need a story mode that has been nerfed to ashes.

and since fabled sets are pretty much a bonus, they would be the only relics that would not be account bond
