I am not a fast or flashy player at all. I do not have real world money for pay to play any game, so every bit of my forward motion has come through my hard work and few surprises along the way.  One from my founder and one from Cajun. Sorry, I can't remember if there were others outside the young women I followed into this game.  That's life I guess.

 

I hunt and that gold gets me what I get.  Used to get dots through vids, then it became shards to exchange for dots, now it's my hunt gold buying my dots on the market.

 

At more than 1100 levels, I don't think I'm doing so bad.

The problem is the game has 10000000 supply of every item imaginable except for very very few and about 100 demand. Maybe the decay isnt the best idea I will admit that. But I do believe like previously stated the old way LE were treated would be a fix and be super fun.

If you think everything is working fine as it is now your grossly wrong. The speed at which auctions move is a prime example of why it's not working. Players dont wanna play a game in which they can only profit through their wallet. As it is now due to the market players cant grow from playing the game alone.

Something you can surely point out is player population sure... But even if we had 5x the players it wouldn't make all that much of a difference. Items come into the game too quickly. Like I've stated multiple times if a new LE comes out I can supply every player in the game plus their kids and kids kids and kids kids kids.

Find item needs to be discontinued at such a high level as does high level lady luck. Spawns need to be turned down and changed to how they used to be. Inventor 2 pots need to be entirely removed from the game and discontinued as does inventor over level 250.

I don't think the item decaying idea is too bad if it's slow enough. Maybe have the item fully break when the durability reaches 0 instead of being able to fully repair it again. That way you can still keep items indefinitely if you take care of them (repair before 0), but if they're just left too long without being repaired or on inactives that get attacked they will eventually break and disappear like crystalline. You could possibly have guild members team up to take out a rival guilds gear. Epic gear could have extra lives like an SSI type of thing. Epics have 3 chances to hit 0 before fully breaking and being rubbish, maybe T5 epics are invulnerable as a bonus for fully upgrading. That could also add extra buffs like SSI but for your gear to give it a temporary extra life while the buff is up. Just an idea I had
