I purchased the pet: prism, I used the scroll but no prism appeared. I used the scroll in city, not sure if that is why?

If you go into your spell book (with B ) then click on the pet tab, you should find a spell called "Call Prism". If you drag that onto your spell bar you should then be able to use her.

make sure you didn't lock your skill bar.  it won't place there automatically if locked so like Anakiro said you need to drag it there. I usually have my skill bar locked and activate scrolls and forget I did that XD

fyi.  When summoning a pet, I prefer to right-click cast directly from the abilities window.  Save on precious toolbar space.
