To reduce the endless running some "homestones" could be added to Council, Army, Racketeers. Even if travels will cost some money, reducing abuse i would be glad to pay just to keep mental wellness.

Not so much running if you use Homestone and Dragons wisely, Council-Dragons in Eldevin and Mythos, Army-Dragons in Eldevin and Illaneska, Racketeers-Dragons in Piregarde and Barrens, using HS on occasions:)

This "wise running" surely used by any low IQ noobish player still brings a HUGE minus to gameplay IMHO.   

Making people miss "autoquestrun" in some more democratic games

Saying 'using Homestones wisely' is not insulting, so i don't see why you have to respond by calling me a noob with a low IQ!

I don't think, that this was his intention. He mentioned the "averaged low IQ noob" for the time the game goes life.

In answer to your question, HCS already has this covered.  This is the purpose of the 'Instant Dragon' in the premium shop.  For only 100ep (pretty cheap, IMO), summon a dragon from anywhere.  This is the perfect type of item to charge points for.  Absolutely not necessary, but a great convenience.

 

But even without the dragon, this game really doesn't have that much running for a classic MMO.  I take it you never played WoW Classic (or early BC).  The running in this game is nothing compared to that .  At least we have quest markers on the map, so you don't have to figure out/search for everything, and can carefully plan your route.

Insta Dragons! problem solved 

 

Like Irradiated said, the running around is not too bad, even without Insta Dragons.

 

They were added a little while after beta started, so I have played with them and without them. Some quests can get a bit tedious, but it is not so much that it ruins enjoyment of the game, In my opinion 

 

Current Homestone locations can be used to get you in a stones throw distance from a Dragon too.

Simple asking for mount or speed boster! Dragon are usefull if use them right most case Dragon are farly close! to point of map need go!

 

So, Speed Potion Achemy item start low going up in speed as lvl start llvl 5 - 5% - lvl 50% some thing scale with lvl - Achemly lvl!

 

Or Mount sys has speed so can move faster see horse around! Possible update can buy horse to use - Cash shop limited vs more speed!

 

Just as well get 15% speed not much say for right now combind with few skill's limited bump! 5% From Oblisic and 10% fro,m Archer - Party or using class!

 

top off with speed potion / or Mount get to point A to B faster with Dragon support!

1$ per instant is bit much for some! Just as well dragon ponit's are farly close!

 

Thought forget about gem sys, Get speed gem's 1% starting 9 slot's 9% upgrade for more 1% per upgrade!

 

Archer Speed bump 10% and Oblisc get around should not be much issue latter game when tarde sys in place! As in AH - Market!

 

Just as well to get to Point A to B should not take to long!

 

2% - 18% 3% - 27 4% 36%

 

Full 2% 45 gem's

 

3% 225 gem's

 

4% 2025 gem's

 

Latter when easyer get gem from other player's get up lvl gem's will be easy obtain!

 

Full 2% + 15% = 33% speed bump not hard get! Even more so as obtain gem's - Trade's so forth!

Insta Dragon is not that useful - you still get to fixed location and run run run. I agree with Elnestor that some  "anchor" spell would be more in a place, one would prefer bying it for Eldevin points, rather than Insta Dragon.

 

 

PS  start to find myself lazy basing on your replies guys  But still that thinking is much due to "autorun" option i really liked in a few games. There are lots of useful items to spend EP to... i dont really think that improved movement should be charged that high, - gold or relics but not EP. Or even if its charged that way when game goes live - i would prefer the "anchor" spell.
