How about a tournament that there are 4 groups/classes examples:

Assassin

Hunter

Magician

Beast

Classes or groups names can be changed in the future or adjusted they’re just

Examples.

I.e. If you’re an assassin you attack the hunter the magician or the beast,

Cannot attack same group ( you are essentially a team )

So at the end of the event all the points obtained will be added up

For each class and rewards will be handed off based on place of group not individuals

1st – 4th place

every group gets a similar rewards just decreases slightly based on place ranked

(Developers will determine the rewards)

Some Rules

The tournament will be announced with a one week notice

You can only attack an individual one time per 24 hours

That admin/ game will automatically assign you a random group or class for every event.

Your level will be locked at the start of the event so there is no  abuse.

(As in locked I mean if your level 1000 by the event time and level to 1200 you can only still attack in the bracket you stated in at the beginning )

The range in which people you can attack Will be plus or minus is 25 to 50 levels

(This will be determined by the admin my numbers is above are examples)

Each successful attack is worth one point

Eat a successful defense is it worth one point

Unresolved combat is Point to the defender

So this event is about 24 to 48 hours long, everyone versus everyone PVP

Participants   are among the active players only (seven days Active)

Participants can also opt out if not they will be automatically opted in

There would be no loss in experience

There would be no loss in Gold on hand

Bounties cannot be placed

No PVP prestige will be obtained

This is like a global event you will be able to view the points total for each class or group in the world chat screen.

I wrote this quickly and I’m not sure if I’m missing anything however if you have any suggestions feedback or any type of comments write down below and I hope we can get this thread moving along so there’s something new to look forward to every few months

umm I guess I can try simplify it lol

Its kind of like GvG but with random teammates.

lets says there is 632 active players

(better than 4 groups lets do 2 like gvg for an example or consideration)

316 players in group Assassin

316 players in group Magician

(guild mates may also be put in a different group and can hit each other)

Each can only hit in their own pvp Brackets

(so i.e.  a lvl 3000 can hit lvl 2950 but not lvl 225  and vise-versa )

Successfully obtained points go towards the players group

Most points at the end wins.

Hopefully this makes more sense for you guys.

I want it opt in so I don't get auto slammed if I'm not on when it comes live.

It is interesting to see how many variations of the same thing can be rolled out though.

Although this isn't nessesarily relative to pvp knowledge your ladder medal/pvp smasher medal could  be boiled down to a number than that can be used to split.

How can these teams be made evenish

An automated code in the system can make the team even.

By basically taking each lvl bracket and dividing into 2

i.e. 100 players level 3000 - 3400

50 players in that range will be team Assassin

other 50 players will be on team Magician

i.e. 60 players ; level 2500 - 3000

30 players assassin

30 players Magician

I.e  50 players level 2000 - 2500

25 players assassin

25 players Magician

i.e. 130 players level 1500 - 2000

65 players to assassin

65 players to magician

i.e. 30 players lvl 1000 - 1500

15 players to assassin

15 players to magician

I.e 100 players lvl 500-1000

50 players to assassin

50 players to magician

i.e. 162 players lvl 25 - 500

81 players to assassin

81 players to magician

Therefore each group has there split up evenly through the brackets and can be called Group vs Group

hopefully this can clear some stuff for you

No problem.  what do you mean so I can figure it out?

One post above you is a way the system will break apart all levels so that it can be distributed evenly , each group should have or closely have an equal amount of level ranges from 25-3400+

after the teams are created you will have level ranges in which you can attack,

so a lvl 169 will be able to attack or defend against +/- 25 or 50

The level 169 would not be able to attack or be attacked by example a lvl 1000 player

even though your level 169 you will have team mates that can be 3000+ (and all ranges) partaking in their bracket and earning points while you earn points in your bracket and all points are live like a global event is in the world chat interface.

EDIT

I understand now my bad, you mean if only ( 169 players join )

I guess that would be problematic but less players in brackets however it should be still divided evenly amongst brackets.

Im guessing you would assume a player might be stuck in his bracket with only himself or one other player to hit.

ranges can/may be changed by developers based on number of participants wanting to opt in, hence the 1 week notice I noted above giving time for them to see adjust.

Its kind of like a global event in that there is no real loss, ( only 10 stamina for the attack buffs and time) Just partake in the event or not.

And what would the criteria to "run" be?

By that, I mean at what point does battle begin?  Is it a set value, for example xx players registered...

or at set intervals, a particular date and time?

Real time battle or rng based outcome?

That sort of thing.....

1 week notice - active for 24 or 48 hours

In that time you make your attacks and defend against attacks until the time runs out

I did write attack a player only once (mistake fastly written) , but depending on the number or participants every 4 or 6 hours you can attack a player of the opposing class for points.

so depending on how long the event is active you can earn or give up 8 - 12 points to your group.

I wrote on this above ,this based on if not many people will play but it would technically be like a global event everyone interacts as a group for a goal , but the ranges are up to devs to determine and optimize for players, and would increase or decrease level ranges per each event as follows ( just like past globals in which they altered the total over all kill needed)

Any thing else?
