This may be another one of those where it isn't actually a bug but thought I'd raise it as a question here anyway just in case

 

I have "simple menus" turned on so that I can gather by simply right clicking rather than double left clicking.

However, when fishing I still get asked if I want to fish or if I want to use bait.

 

I feel that if I have simple menus turned it should default to fishing automatically rather than prompting in this instance...?

If you read the description of simple menus it states that it will automatically perform the action in a menu with only one option. Because of the option to add bait when you are fishing, the simple menus does not apply as there are 2 options in that menu.
