This is from http://forum.fallens... ... e#p1096184 modified for SS2.(highlighted under yellow) Also, I am assuming you are only using Firefox. so most of the credit goes to dougmines from FS for this posting. Not sure about the total server numbers for SS2, but it makes sense to use the highest number server. and Some of these optimization is also good for SF

There are basic tweaks to firefox when performed increased my speeds phenomenally, but such may not be the case for everyone. The following is a list of the tweaks I personally use. If you scan the internet there are literally thousands out there. I have taken the time to try all I have found and this set seems to work best for me. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/66278 script. this script is lightweight helper script that will allow you to highlight the behemoth in the area map, so it is easier to see.

Once all this is done you should look into your SS2 preferences, disable everything except keyboard shortcuts and quick kill, both are needed to remain active to allow everything else to function properly. Aside from those two everything else should be disabled. Also at the top of your screen, in your toolbar, select tools, then addons. Disable all extensions and plugins with the exceptions of greasemonkey and reload every. This is critical as they do nothing more then slow you down and in this instance, speed is everything. Lastly comes the servers. Many may not be aware of this. fallensword (I believe SS2 shares server with fs)has 23 dedicated servers, the numbers from low to high representing the oldest or most heavily laiden with data, to the newest, the most up to date and less loaded. It is always necessary to remain between 19-23, 23 being the fastest, the others incrementally so towards 23. If you intend to hunt most of the hard core hunters, those with the addiction, tend to use reload every to serve as auto reload on the home page until the top of the hour, insuring us that we are on a good one should a titan be released. Remember, turn off all firewalls, adware, spyware removal tools, automatic updates, anything that uses system resources that is not absolutely necessary for your computer to function properly. This includes firefox add ons, plug ins and extensions not directly related to titan hunting. Now that your setup to titan hunt, remember your buffs. Attack, defense, dmg, or attack, armor, dmg work equally well.all the buffs that you will need, all serve their purposes and can mean the difference between success and failure. At this point we come to a variance that has been used with great success as of late and while it would have been thought frowned upon as in my summation it amounts to no better then a method to automate killing is the use of reload every to refresh a kill link in a separate tab. When you land on a Behemoth and kill it, close all other page except the tabbed kill link and the world map upon which you move. Set the kill link tab to reload every 0-1 sec, causing it to refresh itself in those incriments. now toggle to the world page and continue running to the titan and just sit on it, allowing the reloading kill link to kill the titan for you. To me this smacks of automation but as it has been going on and brought up in the past in these forums with no negative response from HCS, then it will have to be assumed they are fine with it. This works for behemoth under stack. Now, in SS2 with non delay kill, it may actually be faster to double click on the mob instead of reload 0-1sec.
This saves milliseconds and they do count when talking titans. When you land on it, click like crazy until the area map, shrunk and relocated to the right side of your screen and autorefreshing at 0-1 second intervals, shows it has been killed, then run to the new spot and do the same. This is the general way you will proceed throughout your entire hunt. Given the newness of this to alot of you, assigning areas would be a better approach to start then going all out attempting to cover the entire map, until you feel comfortable and capable of doing so, which will come in short order I know. Allow others to know of your arrival and you can be assigned an area in which you would be most successful and beneficial to the guilds efforts as a whole. Sometimes you will run across hunters who seem to be dominating you by sitting on you, preventing you from getting any kills. Should this occur address it to your Behemoth team leader. They should shift you to another location and reassign a faster hunter to go contest your faster adversary. Make sure to mind your buffs, if they run out you could be loosing every battle and remain unaware until the damage is done. Don't worry yourselves with the scout tower. The results will speak for themselves when done.
Lastly, there are various individual tweaks which can be performed to further increase your systems response time that are system specific. Graphics can be adjusted for best performance, etc. I will not go into those here as they are OS specific and hopefully these you can find and perform with ease on your own. Well that's about all I have, not much but I do sincerely hope it helps you in some small way enjoy hunting titans

Hope this helps you with the competition :D

WOW if i have to do all that crap to hunt a behemoth I say screw it I'll leave the behemoth to those that will, and besides that that only helps when our super scripter isn't hunting it.

well, this should help even against the scripters unless they really shows it up like "romania" did in FS frankly just with lightwalk with map and kill link on auto is almost fast enough. rest is just tweaking the browser for maximum speed. (which can make a lot of difference)

I am just trying to lvl the field so everyone has the knowledge. does not mean you have to use it. good connection with fast computer, you can probably do well with lightwalk alone.

The guide should first state:
If you want to WIN a Behemoths, go out there and hunt. LW and Helper or not, if you want to win, you will win.

I have seen plenty of Behemoths spawned and not secured (killed by 1/2 HP) for like 1 or 2 days, even the xmas Behemoths (and much more days for lower lever Behemoths).

Again, get out there and hunt, more hunting and less whining.

Really auto-refreshing kill tabs I had no clue that was even allowed. Anyways thanks for the read but I will stick to Millerguy's guide.

Millerguy has a guide that was made before Lightwalk. But seriously what ever gets more people to behemoth hunt the better so long as they play honestly. ;)
