Agreement on server times? I can see the appeal, but I think the initiating guild should still have some advantage, and negotiating a time could be like herding cats with guilds wanting their guys from X timezone on, and the other guild, that has done its homework, deliberately wants to avoid them. Agreements might be hard to come by!

 

Thats where the initiating guild can get the advantage, by already knowing which timezones are most active before they launch an attack. Also herding cats sounds part of the strategy. If a guild couldnt get their ducks in a row in a ~24 hour notice, then they should have prepared better. Theres already many elements in the game similar to this.

That the point I'm trying to make, I do agree on a regular pair of titans gloves + 3 or + 4 stamina gain level 1000 to 2000 is needed since it's missing.

 

But that's it, once it's out there you hunt it and you're done; however with the invented gloves only based on what the titan drops ( and 10 purple flowers +1 on your idea )  its something to look forward to and achieve by HUNTING.

 

Emphasis on HUNTING because you have to do it again and again and again, not a one and done thing, plus adding the random factor or 5 different drops that are needed its literally something to achieve and focus on as an individual or a group. 

 

Trading fingers or waiting till you have 4 types to buy one is up to you, it would be interesting to have it as the first bound titan gear, but that's weird lol

I actually really like this idea Uncola..I am not a HUGE fan of invented epics tbh but they are a lot more healthier for titans since its more valuable and a longer life span(in terms of actively being hunted).

I loved what the cows did with the milk so its a perfect example of how it was successful.

Would love to see a titan drop an X amount of different resources to make one epic of some sort..Would bring some life back into titan hunting again.

I like the idea of rotating titans though...Will actually make some epics more valuable than they are...Though im not 100% sure since most the titans are flooded.

I used to be a TERRIBLE thumb sucker and to get me to stop my dad would put hot sauce on my thumb...But it didnt work cause I would just end up getting more and putting it on my thumb

Or just make guilds lose half the TD benefit after a secure.

Eh, This entire idea seems pretty sketch. Dont get me wrong I would love to be able to hunt titans freely without the worry of a CD but its just completely unfair. Cooldown was implemented for a reason.
 

Before cooldowns became a thing you would see the same 2-3 guilds securing titans...and it didnt change till the cooldown happened.

All jokes aside, It seems like a very great and interesting idea. Sort of reminds me of PvP seasons in the sense that everyone was your enemy. Just the only issue is that it will create A LOT of competition. Dont get me wrong I would love more people to beat ( ) but it wouldnt give much of the casual titan hunters a chance to get the epic. (Since this will null the whole entire purpose of the current 7 day cool down system).

Just kinda sucks big guilds barely get a chance to hunt the titans themselves though :/

I'd like to thank all you crazy people that potted up and started hunting the GE, LE, and titans immediately after the game came back up...and knowing full well that the first bovine fix is never the actual fix.  Testing the system to its limits and voicing your displeasure when it breaks.  You truly are the unsung hero's of FS.

 

As for me, I'll wait a day or 3 for things to calm down and then use my stam.

I also have 6 - 1 defualt , 1 champions pack, 4 for level 10,20,30,40. I was also expecting an additional one at 50 but seems it's designed not to give anymore after level 40 (don't get one at level 60 either) - I could be wrong.

I would assume you'd get an extra one by buying this pack taking it up to 7. 

Correct. Only way to get 7. Considering the max is 5(assuming you bought no champs pack/elite pack)

So I noticed that there has never been a Titan like guide. So I thought I would give it a shot to see how well I can feed everyone information.

1. Introduction

I'm Lsrpm..Been playing the game 9 years and have seen it all when it comes to hunting titans. Whether it be all the guild strategies, all the scripts people used, etc. Its been a long road but I have always enjoyed titan hunting regardless. I currently have the crystal titan hunting medal and look forward to getting my ruby eventually.

2. Things to note

Couple of things that are very important. Internet speed heavily determines your "speed" when it comes to titan hunting. Whether or not you are able to move fluidly to each and every spot the titan moves. So if you do not have the best internet then it will be difficult to be able to hunt titans in general.

Pressing T while on the world map is a shortcut to teleport. Your square turns blue instead of green when its active.

The guild structure Temporal Beacon helps with titan hunting IMMENSELY. Having your teleport cooldown reduced is huge when it comes to going against others.

There are also a few items in the game that give the enhancement "Temporal Shift" which also reduces your teleport cooldown.

3. General Tips

Buffs that are 100% MANDATORY are Titan Doubler and Teleport. They generally sell for 1 fsp each on the buff market or even sometimes 1 fsp for both. Without these two buffs there is 0 chance in competing with other players.

Light foot and Conserve are also very much needed if you dont have a huge stamina bank.

A titan spawns every hour of xx:00 ST. For example if its currently 2:55 AM I know a titan will have a CHANCE to spawn in 5 mins. Usually by this time I have multiple things prepared in case a titan does spawn

-Be on a portal so I can be ready to port to a realm

-Have 3-4 tabs open. One for the home page, another for the buff market(multiple if Teleport and Titan Doubler cant be bought at once) one for the world map, and the last is the wiki or Fallensword Guide handy, just in case a titan spawns that I dont automatically remember the said realm its in.

EXTRA TABS/WINDOWS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND

Most people find titan hunting extremely boring and often ask "Wow how can you do this" Well its simple. The best thing to do while titan hunting is to have something going on in the background. Whether it be your favorite movie,new TV show, favorite music, or even talking to your friends makes the titan process less painful and even more enjoyable. This particular tip has helped me through many secures.

Here is what my screen tends to look like while im titan hunting.

On the left you see Fallensword and me hunting a "titan". On the right you see a show im watching while hunting said titan. And towards the bottom left you see the scout tower screen.

I like having the scout tower screen show because I want to know how close I am to being done or how well im doing against others. I usually have this screen on auto refresh(every 1 minute).

Clicking Vs Keys!

Many people have different thoughts on this but I personally think clicking is faster and a lot more accurate. But you can always try both to see what you feel more comfortable with!

4. Going For TKP or Secure(Solo)

Now when hunting titans you obviously have the option to just farm TKP(far less efficient) or straight up going for the secure(a long grind but worth it in the end)

Going for the solo secure on a titan with less than 4800 health, it is recommended to have at least 6000 stamina or else you run the risk of running out of stamina when you are almost done with a secure.

There have been countless times where I thought I could make it on the 4000 stamina I had but was sadly mistaken. So always make sure you have the proper stamina bank.

For those who dont have those large of stamina banks. I would recommend putting as much FSP into your stamina because it will pay off later on. Until then you can continue to hunt for TKP and try to get the drop through that way.

5. Profit From Titan Hunting

For the most part it is a slow process to get a fast and true profit from titan hunting. Unless you are hunting the latest and greatest titan,seasonal titans, or just a very hard titan to hunt.

Most of the titan epics are over flooded in the game which makes selling said epics very difficult. 

The best and somewhat risky way to sell these not so wanted epics is to do a 1 or 2 hour 1fsp Auction of them. Now I know what you are saying "WHAT!? Are you crazy?? I worked so hard for this epic and its just going to go to waste???"  70% of the time I do something like this I barely lose FSP. In fact I only lose a very minuscule amount of FSP. So in my opinion its the fastest best way to get FSP immediately once you get the epic.

6. Closing and Notes

Why dont we just remove gear then,make it a true slug fest. Barebones, fists only. We can all run around naked.

In all seriousness though. The same way you guys feel about composing pots is the same way I feel about gear for PvP. I can make the same exact argument you guys are making about these pots on the ladder. PvP is hard to balance as it is right now and I honestly believe nullifying pots/composing pots on the ladder wont help revive the dead PvP.

And to go on about you 7,8,9 posts

7- Pretty cool change..Harder to tell what stats your opponent has with cloak

8,9- Yes but no..It can be abused even if you limit but then that would be preventing more people who want to pvp in the guild

My biggest concern at the moment is with PvP in general.

Now I know there was an out cry about the seasons and the bounty board but at least it was active..

At the moment there is currently 68 players in the PvP ladder..Vs the 140ish we had during seasons. Now this may change wants the rewards are introduced..Hopefully thats the case. As for the bounty board..Its going to be deader than before since PvP in general (outside of ladder) is not prevalent enough for people to bounty these days. I propose you keep this bounty system in place now and add back the Total Bounty again. At least then the bounty board was flooded

Also I assume those who did reach the top 25 in the titan league did not receive any of the rewards. Is that intended? Or just a hiccup?
