Hi there Everyone.

 

Darksun Dragons are rarely encountered, preferring sleep the year away in desolate lands and caves far from those who would hunt them. However during the rare celestial eclipse known as the Darksun, these Dragons awaken and migrate in huge numbers from their hidden haunts descending upon the populated lands to feed in an orgy of fire and blood before returning to their dark hidden homes. This year, the mighty Darksun Destroyers has joined their lesser brethren for the destruction!

 

The Darksun Dragons are known to hoard great treasures. Join together now and help defeat them!

 

Darksun Dragon (Level 25)

 

Counts as 1 kill.

 

Darksun Destroyer Level 25

 

Counts as 5 kills.

 

You can see the current Global Event progress on the World page. The more the community defeats, the more Darksun Stashes every player who qualifies will receive.

 

The Global Event shall be live until 10:30 (Server Time) on the 11th of May 2016.

 

Darksun Stash II

 

For each tier that the community completes the reward will increase as follows:

 

Bronze : 1 x Bronze Darksun Stash, allowing one choice from the Potions within.

Silver : 1 x Silver Darksun Stash, allowing two choices from the Potions within.

Gold : 1 x Gold Darksun Stash, allowing four choices from the Potions within.

Crystal : 1 x Crystal Darksun Stash, allowing six choices from the Potions within.

Ruby : 1 x Ruby Darksun Stash, allowing ten choices from the Potions within.

If you qualified, the reward(s) will be delivered to your mailbox shortly after the event ends. Note that you get the reward for the tier that you have qualified for, for example if the community unlocks Gold, but you qualify for Silver, you will receive 1 x Silver Darksun Stash. You don't receive the rewards from lower tiers, only the tier you have qualified for.

 

If at the end of the event, you are placed within the top 100 contributors, you will receive 1 additional Silver Darksun Stash. These are in addition to any reward you are qualified for.

The potions in each chest are the same. You just get more of them per rank.

Ah I clearly had a brainfart there. So it is essentially an extra 2. I thought there were lower level potions of the same skills in the lower rarity of unlocks. I should read things more carefully. Thanks BG.

In other Globals, there are increases in power. With this one, there are a lot of additional potions with no power increase.

thxs for the global bg..this is one of the really good ones..10 for 1 chests..how can anyone complain or pass up...9k is not that much..takes 20 minutes of someones time..we should easily reach ruby in this global...keep up the good work bg

Thanks for the event and especially this one. 

 

I like the frag stashes and, unlike some others, actually recently used up the last of the pots in this reward. 

 

Yes, I'm strategically sneaky that way.

I'm still medal crazy so I'm going after the beasties.  But I have the last two chests also, think I've used one potion out of one.

I use these chests up two at a time on a hunt so the stash runs dry pretty sharpish, good job I don't have silly max stam tank so they never get used huh

maybe i am forgetting something..- does anyone know how to make the globals not show up when hunting.? is there a toggle somewhere ? thxs

Great Global! Thank you for hosting! This saves a ton of BP space having the pots come out of the same reward. I put my 50k up, looks like there are many eager to make the top 100. Wish there were incentives for people who wanted to help the community, but don't have the stamina to make it into the top 100. =)

I'm not aware that you can make globals disappear.

 

I use "do not kill" function. Not too sure if that might be a FSH option. Hope it helps.

To confirm for you: Yes it is a FSH option; that feature is not in the game itself.

Thank you for the event and congrats to the community for hitting Ruby it looks like to me. I am looking forward to the next global event or some other surprise by HCS staff.

Thanks for the event HCS. It helped get some of my frags up there which is always good.

 

Beyond that, the pots are pretty convenient.
