Just changed the arena daily quests so they are now for joining arenas instead of winning them

My daily quest today:

Win 1 arenas
0 / 1
Gain +10,000 Gold

Daily Quest Collected! You have successfully collected the reward: Gain +10000 Gold

 

I entered a level 2000+ tourney for join cost 4k gold, and won 25k gold, so made a decent profit including the daily quest reward!

 

imo all the daily quests are achievable as they stand now. Perhaps some of them could do with slight tweaking to get a happy medium for the ratio of stam used and reward collected .

Why was a small amount of xp not also added? Something like Your Level x 100 xp, which should be approximately an extra hours worth of xp gain.

Paid 500 gold and joined a novice arena naked for +5 max stamina.. i imagine this is how most will do this arena daily quest.. please think about changing it back to win an arena.. will get more players involved and actually try to complete the daily quest..

Yesterday's quest was to "Defeat 150 or 250 Champion creatures" (not sure) and the prize was Max Stamina (don't remember, ). Today's was "Win 2 Arenas" to get like 125K gold.

 

Yesterday's was very hard and for less than 20 creatures I did not win the prize. I spent all my stamina, plus composed potions and buffs to be able to defeat them. Lots of resources! If instead I'd leveled up I would make like 300 K gold plus one more level. Champions are easier than SE or Titan, nevertheless are not like defeating some class creature. The investment was too high for the prize, I thin.

 

Today's was a bit strange. First, I had to win the arena and now was changed to only joining the arena. The prize for the win was fair, I think, but it is a lot o money just for joining.

 

Maybe today's amount of money was like a consolation prize for yesterday... As the other players I agree it needs a tweak. Since I returned to the game I login everyday. Having some more incentive is welcome, anyway!

I hope you fix my CDO hoof. +7 max stam as a reward is great, but my "fix" would be better if it were 5 or 10. Odd numbers scare me!

Well, as a counter example: I've already turned down a "win one arena" quest, but have every expectation of joining when I get the chance to "enter", and I'll probably do a bit of research to get what I can out of my first arena.

 

I think "enter" is exactly right for a daily quest, and exactly right for getting more players to begin to think about the arena.

Ran out of likes in the 150s I think... dang, dang. Anyway, going to wait for quite awhile before doing more Egami diatribe. I feel this post should probably be liked just for that reason, lmao.

 

I think that would remove any element of surprise as to what the quests may be each day. Happy to listen to any feedback on quests you've seen however

 

Hoof's above post was based on a question about HCS providing a list of quests and rewards. I feel the same way that the info requested can be supplied by someone creating a guide. 

 

@Hoof.... When/if "final" tweaks are made, can we please get a heads up here?

I think it is time for the cows to clean their house.  The people coming up with these "ideas" don't seem to have the ability to come up with ideas on ways to improve the game to gain more participation,,i.e. more players online..So now the cows are going to tweak ,,,tweak,,,tweak.  And tweaking is all they are capable of.   I like the idea ,,,, but once again the cows do not have the personal to do things right the first time.............So tweak away cows and continue to watch the players online fall,,,,,and don't forget what your tweaking did to the pvp tournament failure     :>}

Having same issue here that some have mentioned. 

 

Just did the 400 tiles quest for 125k gold. Hit 400 and then collect. 

 

Message came up: "You have either already collected today's Daily Quest or the quest has not yet been completed."

 

Popped me back to 396. 

 

I carefully calculated the moves.

EDIT 1: I did refresh my log and haven't received the reward.

 

EDIT 2: I just did the extra 4 stam. This time before hitting the collect button I decided to refresh the world screen.

 

I then hit the collect button and received the reward. Not too sure if that's the issue... just saying in case it helps you fix the issue and/or works for other players to avoid stam loss.

sometimes you get bad or good quest, nobody is forcing anyone to do daily quests, last quest I had was bad for me so I skip, this one was good so I completed

Honestly why do you think Titan doubler would work for this or should work for this??? There's enough win buttons in the game already. I am so sick and tired of everybody's belly aching for the 300 people left playing this game after 10 years :-(

I agree with you cucu and Hoof has said as much. However, if you look at the post the player made... it completely makes sense. The quest requirement is "Reduce a Titan's HP by 125". 

 

The correct version for the quest would be: "Defeat a Titan 125 times".

 

Only that could make clearer that Titan Doubler will not work.

 

These communication issues are pretty rampant throughout the game. 

 

It goes way back to having to "know" that Titan Doubler does not work on Elemental Titans, but Quest Hunter does.

 

Personally, I think that the skill descriptions need to be tweaked. These are daily quests and, rightly so in my mind, Quest Hunter does not work. But the skill description does NOT reflect that.

 

Again, I don't really think the post responded to was a big "me, me". In fact, I suspect that it is typical for anyone trying to complete that daily quest.

 

Let's face it... they wasted extra stam for no benefit. That doesn't seem right to me.

All Current stamina ones should be reserve stamina..I would rather move 400 tiles and get 175 reserve Stam then move 400 tiles and get 175 current stamina as my today quest was...

My Today's Daily Quest was to kill 225 Undead creatures and the reward was 40 allegiance tokens.  After reading through and seeing all of the other quests in here I think it's one of the better ones.  I just went to a realm that only spawned a couple of undead creatures, took about 10 minutes or less and used a comparatively small amount of stam.  That reward was equivalent to 8 days of logging in, and I'll accept that, since I'm only semi active at the moment. 

 

By the way I think the daily quest thing is just a fun little thing to spice things up a little bit.  I don't really feel the intent was to provide huge rewards or difficult tasks.  Wasn't the idea just for us to have a little extra fun and some small rewards for doing things we were probably already going to do that day?  At least that's my take on the subject.  I would also expect that everything that works during the course of normal game play should also work while completing a daily quest.  Including any buffs or potions that you might be using.  There will probably be quests that a person could complete during their normal hunts and things. Okay, have a nice day everyone.  

 

P.S. the kill 175 super elite one in 1 day did seem a little much.  lol  It took me years to get to my measly little 202
