I'm on a quest called 'The Diminutive City: Part 1'

 

Where is the handkerchief?

Judging by the text in the box, it would appear you already have the handkerchief and need to bring it to Heath. Double check your inventory.

Having some more trouble with this quest.. 

 

I now have to collect a crumb of cheese

 

So, I got the cheese

 

 

and I'm trying to give it to this Jenkins guy, but when I click on him he doesn't give me the option to give him the cheese..?

Do I need more then one piece or something?

That happens sometimes with npcs, did you try going out and back in to the realm? Or just keep clicking on them till the quest box shows up. Thats what I do lol

Yes, I tried this a few times. It's almost as if he thinks ive already given him the cheese...

 

 

Even went back to get a 2nd crumb of cheese.

 

Nothing. Am I bringing the cheese to the right person? Or is it someone different I have to give it to?

 

I'm confused and I really want to complete this quest.

I deleted the cheese and then got it again - don't move after picking up the cheese. (Read this on some other thread). After a second it'll advance the quest and you're good to go.

I deleted the cheese like you said and went back to get it again and it was gone!

 

Now what do I do..

You can respawn the zone maybe by logging out of the game and you will end up back outside. Then go back to the crazy wizard who shrunk you and he will shrink you again. Back you go. Worth a try.

Try deleting the cheese then re-shrinking down, this should fix your issue. I will look into getting this stage being made more robust, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Tried that and still can't give him the cheese.

Hmmm. I believe that all I did was delete the cheese, hearth, restart the game, and go back in. I may have died instead of hearthing. Beyond that, I'm not sure. =/ Best of luck.

Nothing has worked. I've tried over 100 times...

He obviously thinks I already gave him the cheese.

Getting a little annoyed now.. It's been 3 days...

Sounds like a nightmare. Sort of like the new patch coming up. Sorry I could not be of more help. The devs will have to make this quest less buggy.

We'll look at this yes, I manually tweaked your quest stage so you should be able to go back and get the cheese now, let me know if you still have problems.

Now I can't even get the cheese. The part of the quest wont even load anymore..

Came on today and it looked like that section of this quest was reset (I was pushed a step back somehow).

Re collected the cheese and still have the same problem!!!

 

 

 

 

This is getting ridiculous, I'm about to just find a new game to play altogether..

when you grab the cheese from the mouse trap are you running straight back into the hole or waiting for the quest to advance. i noticed once that if i ran back into the hole without letting the quest advance after getting the cheese something like this happened. if you are then destroy the cheese and go back and get it, but wait for 10 seconds before entering the hole to go back up top. hope this helps
